Lucas POV
As the school bell rings to release us I see Maya so I run to catch up to her.
"Hey Maya, I was wondering if we could go work on the 'you know what' tonight," I asked.
"Yeah sure. Show me the way cowboy," she says with a smile.
When I opened the door to my apartment, my huge dog jumps on Maya and knocks her over. Then it began to lick her face.
"Red, get down!" I yell at the dog. Then the dog gets off her and runs back in the apartment.
"Nice horse you got yourself there cowboy," she says while whipping the slobber off her face.
"Yeah sorry about that. My mom is usually taking for a walk at this time but she had to work late tonight," I say while laughing. Then we proceed to my bedroom and start working on decorations.
When we finished the decorations Maya says, "Wow, we did a good job," while admiring our work.
"Yeah but then again you are the best artist in the city," I say with a big smile.
"Thanks," she said. The she looked away but before she looked away she didn't realize I saw her blush. She looked so cute. WAIT WHAT AM I SAYING I LIKE RILEY!
"So same thing tomorrow after school?" I finally say.
"Yeah that sounds great," she says with a smile. Her smile is so beautiful. OMG I DID IT AGAIN!! STOP IT LUCAS!!
"I'll see you at school tomorrow," I say.
"See ya tomorrow," She says with a smile. Then I shut the door with a smile never leavings my face.
The next day when we arrive at school I keep looking for Maya. Wait what am I saying I mean I keep looking for RILEY. Then I see them so I call them over. "Hey guys."
"Hi Lucas," Riley says while she stares at me, she's so adorable.
"Hey Ranger Rick," Maya says in a country accent.
"How you ladies doing on this fine mornin?" I say as I play along.
"I'm doing swell," Maya says with a smile.
"Well then. Riley may I do the honor of walking the princess to her class," I say as I turn to Riley.
"Yes, yes you may," she says with that smile I love of hers. So I take her arm and we walk to Mr.Matthews class. Maya walks in after us then we all sit down as the bell rings, I don't hear a word Mr.Matthews says because I'm to busy looking at Riley. Then Maya raises her hand.
"Mr.Matthews may I move to the back again?" she asks.
"Yes you may Ms.Hart," he says then he continues to teach. I wonder why she moved again. Is something bothering her? I'll just ask her tonight. Then I go back to staring at Riley.
