"You're still going to that dinner?" Seth asked in disbelief. I nodded my head as I continued to do my hair. He was sitting down and watching me get ready while convincing me not to go.
"I can't be rude and cancel on them last minute."
"Trust me. You can." he mumbled.
"Besides, it was his mom who asked me. Not him." I finished with a curl and moved to another.
"But I'm telling you. This is bad news, Char." he warned me for the millionth time.
"Since when did you start caring about this?" I turned to him and he stared at me blankly.
"Ever since he hurt you the first time." he finally replied. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm a big girl. I can handle this myself." That shut him up. He sat there looking for what to say but no words came out.
"Charlotte I have to tell you something that I promised not to tell." he looked around to see if anyone was there and locked the door.
"What are you-"
"You better not tell anyone I told you this." he whispered. "Most importantly, you can't tell Logan."
"If it's so important that I don't tell anybody, don't tell me!" he threw his hand over my mouth. I quickly pulled it off and wiped my mouth.
"Why on earth are you wiping your mouth?" he asked looking at his hand. There was a little bit of pink on his hand from my lipstick and I giggled. He looked up at me then back at his hand then back at me and back to his hand. He repeated this a couple times before I finally got annoyed. He was obviously up to something.
"Seth what are-" All I felt was his huge palm wipe across the sleeve of my white top and I gasped so harshly that I didn't even know my lungs were able to inhale so strongly.
"Seth!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. He just laughed and I smacked him on the arm.
"Why would you do that? You know I was gonna wear that to the dinner! Now I have pink all over my shirt!" I scolded him and he continued to laugh. Once he finally stopped, he looked at me with a malicious grin.
"Now you can't go to the dinner." was all he said to earn another smack.
"You idiot! Oh my gosh!" I groaned. "You know what-"
"What?" he smirked and I groaned yet again. I turned to glare at him and then turned back to the mirror to finish my hair.
"So do you want me to tell you?" he asked, sitting down again.
"I don't care. I really don't even want to look at you right now."
"Man. You are so dramatic."
"Dramatic? It took me a long time to choose this outfit! I went searching through my closest for half an hour trying to-"
"So you're trying to look nice for him?" he smirked. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a piece of hair for the next curl.
"You can't."
"And why not?"
"Because Logan likes you and you and I both know you like him to!" he said as fast as he could then put his hands over his mouth. I turned to him with my eyes as wide as saucers. My heart was pounding.
"H-he l-l-li-" I stuttered but couldn't get the words out. Before I could finish, he grinned that stupid little devious grin of his.
"So you do like him also." I ignored his comment but he kept talking.
