Dorothea and I were the only commoners in the Black Eagle House and that made us close. Not that we already weren't close. She used her strings on Nobles to get both of us into the Academy. I was so grateful. Dorothea and I knew each other since we were in the Middlefrank Opera Company. We even had to kiss on stage and that was great. "(Y/N)!" Dorothea yelled as she snapped me out of my thoughts. "Hey Dorothea. What's up." I said as she walked up to me. "I'll get right to the point!" She sounded really excited. I rolled my eyes. "Who are you dating now?" I asked "No one!" She laughed at me. "Oh!" I said happily "Ingrid just gave me a promise ring!!!" I stared at her. "W-what!" I said. I felt it. All my hopes and dreams break apart as I heard the excited girl. "We're going to be together forever!" I heard her yell as I just stared. "People are already planning the wedding. Sylvain is all over Ingrid about it!!" "O-oh I'm so happy for you Dorothea." I said monotony. "Well I got to go. Things to do!" She giggled as she walked off. I stared at the ground. "Cmon (Y/N) it's just Dorothea. She'll get over her soon." I said to myself as my best friend Caspar walked over. "(Y/N), Hey!" He yelled "Oh, hey Caspar." I said sulking. "You wanna go train!? Let's see how many arrows I can block before you hit me!" "Ya sure." Caspar and I made it to the Training Grounds and I got my bow and started shooting at Caspar until I noticed Dorothea crying on a bench. I stopped shooting and went over to her. "Dorothea! What's wrong?" Dorothea looked up "Those stupid nobles! Everyone of them is horrible." I hugged Dorothea. "Everything's going to be ok! Dorothea, you're beautiful, elegant, and have a great personality. You will find someone else. Just leave Ingrid, she doesn't matter!" I said she hugged back sobbing into my chest "I don't understand!! Why is everyone so cruel (Y/N)!" I looked down at her sobbing into my chest. Everyone was looking but I didn't care. All that mattered was Dorothea. "Here, let's go to your room. Then we can decide what to do." Dorothea nodded as we headed back to her dorm. While on the way back we were stopped by Ingrid and Sylvain. "I'm sorry Dorothea." Ingrid said. "I don't like you." How dare Ingrid make a comment to Dorothea right now! "Shut up Ingrid. At least she plans to do something productive with her life unlike you always wanting to become a 'knight'"! I said before kicking her in the back of the leg making her fall to her knees. Sylvain helped her up while we entered Dorothea's Dorm. "Why?" Dorothea repeated as I laid her in bed. "Dorothea, we all have to remember that the heart works in different ways like how ours hearts despise Ferdinand." I giggled at the thought of the orange haired noble. Dorothea also seemed to giggle. If she was having fun so was I. "I am Ferdinand Von Aiger." She retorted as I laughed. "You know what we could do?" I asked "What?" She responded with her eyes getting less tears and face turning back to it's original color. "Let's go steal Ferdinands tea leaves so when he tries to make his tea on his date he won't have any." Dorothea's face lit up. "We'll need to put something in replace of them." She said delightedly. We both sat their for a couple of minutes. "How about Flower Seeds!?" I asked Dorothea's eyes lit up as she thought of Ferdinand drinking Flower seeds tea. "Yes!!!" She said as we sneaked out of Dorothea's Dorm and made our way past Cyril and to the greenhouse to get the flower seeds and then past Cyril a second time to the second floor. "Okay." I said as we walked in Ferdinands room. We closed the door and looked around for them. We practically trashed the place looking for them until someone walked in. It was Hubert. "Ah (Y/N), Dorothea what a surprise. Trashing Ferdinands room. Hm?" He said we stared at him for a few seconds then he said something "Fine, I like Ferdinand. I believe." He looked very embarrassed when Dorothea gasped. "Aww you guys would make a great pair." Dorothea chuckled. "I could say the same about you two Dorothea." He smirked as I blushed. "Oh, there are the tea leaves." I said as I grabbed them off his bed and replaced them with the flower seeds. "Dorothea, (Y/N) he's coming with his date. Hurry to my room. He said as we ran to his room. We looked up to see his date and it was Ingrid. "Ugh. Of course it's her." Dorothea whispered to me as we escaped. Once we got into Huberts room we listened as Ferdinand poured the tea as Ingrid looked around. The place was trashed. Finally the "tea" cooled and they both drank. "Bleh!" Ingrid and Ferdinand yelled. "These aren't my tea leaves!" he said as Ingrid ran out of the room. We all high-fived as Dorothea grabbed my hands. "(Y/N) you've been nothing but nice to me my whole life. Helping me, giving me advice and I'm not sure you like me but... I love you." She said. My heart was racing as Hubert stared at me. Dorothea let go of my hands ready to run as I pull her into a kiss. "I love you Dorothea." I said "Oh, (Y/N)!" We left the room as Edelgard came in. "Lady Edelgard,
Dorothea has fallen in love with (Y/N) I believe if Dorothea chooses the Empire he will follow." "Good Hubert." Edelgard replied "Soon the Empire will have a person who can use Fetters of Dromi. Remember Hubert cover up any evidence of (Y/N)'s crest and make sure to keep Professor Hanneman quiet."
