Jimin stares over at you from across the room, softly pouting as he watches you and Jungkook talking to people. You give him a reassuring look as you take a step, making a distance between you and Jungkook. His bottom lip goes back into his normal place as he looks over at you.

"So," Jungkook says to Sowon. She glances over at him, nodding her head as she urges for him to speak once more. "Does this mean you'll both be coming in to visit the office more often?" he asks. She tilts her head to the side before glancing back at Mr. Jung, who's speaking with her boss. Almost as if on que, they start laughing together loudly. She looks back over at Jungkook.

"I wouldn't say often, more like once or twice a year." She says before looking over at you, noticing the way you and Jimin are looking at each other. "Y/N? Have you and Jimin worked together before?" she asks. You glance over at her before shaking your head.

"No, he's my neighbor and he's... um..." you press your lips together as you try to come up with an excuse. A light bulb goes off in your mind and you glance at her again. You pretend to be embarrassed as you cover your mouth with your hand, leaning towards her. Bringing your voice to a whisper, you continue. "You'll have to excuse him, he's pretty... embarrassed about this situation." You say. Her eyebrows lift in curiosity as she tilts her head to the side. She leans in as well, lowering her voice.

"What? Why?"

"He's kind of... bitter... towards me right now," you start before looking back over at Jimin who now has a confused look on his face. You give him a 'please trust me' look before looking back at Sowon. "Let me explain. So, I just recently moved in next door to him about a month or two ago. When I was house searching, I almost had Jimin become my realtor. However, he was busy with so many clients, so I resorted to using a different realtor from your company." You say. Her eyes slightly widen as she looks over at Jimin before her eyes return to you.

"Oh my gosh, he's giving you that look because you chose a different realtor?" she asks before letting out a soft laugh. She then rests her hand on your shoulder as she shakes her head. "Yep, that's Jimin. When it comes to his work, he always drops whatever he's doing to get another client." She says.

"I've noticed," you say with a small smile. "But yeah, him being here and seeing where I work just reminds him that I chose a different realtor and it's making him feel bad about himself. So, please, don't give him that much of a hard time." She nods her head before giving you a quick nod of her head. She removes her hand from your shoulder before she gives you a small smile.

Making her way back towards where Jimin is, she confidently stands next to Jimin. You arch an eyebrow as you glance over at Jungkook.

Rule number one: don't tell anyone about our kinks. That little white lie should get her off of Jimin's back. He's being far too obvious that he's jealous about something.

Once Jimin and the rest of his company had left, you let out a sigh of relief. You weren't sure how much longer you could put up with his pouting and Sowon's snooping. Thank goodness you were able to get her off of your back with that little lie.

"Alright, before we get back to work, I have another announcement." Mr. Jung discloses. "My son has recently gotten contacted by a large entertainment company. As you all know, he does street dancing. Now, because he has no one else with enough experience to read his contracts and help him negotiate with this company, I will be out of town for about three weeks. I need someone to be in charge of the office while I'm out." He states. Everyone looks around at each other as they anticipate who's going to be in charge. The last thing any of you want is for one of the snobby bosses from the other departments to be in charge while he's gone.
