"I'm surprised your mom actually thinks you lock your window," Richie laughed, trying to keep it down to avoid getting caught. Eddie lifted his head and locked eyes with him. "Yeah, she thought I should be trusted because apparently I'd never intentionally want to sleep near you..." Richie looked at him, joking to be offended. "Ohh is that so!" He launched forward and tackled Eddie, pushing him back and onto the bed.

"You wanna say that again?" Richie laughed, tickling the boy to surrender. "I-I'm sor- I'm sorry! Stop!" He yelped jokingly whilst flailing around. Richie sat back up, adjusting his glasses and helping Eddie gain his balance back. "We should go to bed..." The tall boy yawned. The other one looked at him "Now? Can I have one more song?" Eddie gave Richie the puppy eyes. He couldn't resist.

"So you don't want to sleep with me," The darker-haired boy laughed whilst picking up his ukulele. "When you say it like that it sounds like I'm gonna wake up with your dick up my ass." Eddie turned away. Richie wiggled his eyebrows and winked, "Well if that's what you wan-" a hand covered his mouth. "Just play the song dumbass."

He began strumming hey there Delilah, a personal favourite of his... and Eddie too. Although his small companion had never actually heard the lyrics or even the song in general, he liked it. "Where did you learn to play Richie?" Eddie enquired curiously. "My grandma used to love it... you'd have liked her," He sighed at the boy.

"If she could play like you, I bet I would," Eddie whispered, burying his nose into Richie's neck. "Yeah... she was amazing," He tried to be happy, but he couldn't. If it wasn't for her death, his father wouldn't have started drugs and have been sent away, his mother would have been a loyal wife and mother instead of sleeping with other men... They would still be a normal family... not pretending to be one.

He sniffled and placed the instrument down beside them. His arms made their way around Eddie's small, fragile body, and his chin rested gently on the petite boys head. "I'm sorry, I just-" Richie began, trying to 'man-up' as his dad would have said... but he couldn't. Eddie threw his arms around Richie and placed his forehead on the boys shoulder before sitting up again and looking into his friends eyes. "It's okay... Let it out." He hushed. Richie leant into Eddie's neck and sobbed. "Did something happen?"

After explaining the day and what had happened earlier, his tears began to dry. "Henry is an asshole, his opinion doesn't matter, nobodies opinion matters." Eddie smiled, and it did cheer Richie up. "Yeah! Screw him, I mean not literally but,I guess Patrick actually took that line seriously," He joked. "Exactly," Eddie took his hand and placed it on Richie's face, he kissed his cheek, smiled and turned the light off... "Goodnight,"
