"There you go," Richie placed the plate in front of Eddie, who was sitting on the bed and was wearing one of Richie's jackets. "Thanks Rich," Eddie took his fork and stabbed a waffle, before taking a bite. Richie's hair had started to dry from his shower. He watched the smaller boy eat, he seemed as though he had been starved... "You've got a bit of syrup on your lip Eds," Eddie looked up. The black-haired boy reached out and wiped it off for him.
Richie's parents weren't bothered about Eddie staying. As long as him and Eddie spent most time in the bedroom and not downstairs whilst they were watching tv, they were fine. He was allowed to go down to get food or drinks, just not to hang around, but only when they were in. If they were out it was fine.
Richie looked at Eddie's caramel eyes, the way the colours swirled around his pupil. "Richie? Are you okay?" The small boy placed a hand on Richie's own. "I was thinking... I have this surprise in mind, but, you'll have to go outside later... is that okay?" He sighed and looked down. "Sounds great," Eddie replied, smirking slightly. Richie smiled before realising what was happening. "Eds..." He whispered quietly, breath warm against the smaller boys face. "Hm?" Eddie looked up at him. They sat there, Richie took a breath and did it. He kissed him.
Eddie places his arms around Richie's neck, deepening the kiss. He tasted like sugar and cinnamon... the toppings Richie had used for the waffles. The boys pulled back and laughed. Eddie pushed his nose into Richie's shoulder, still holding on to his neck lovingly. "So? Be there later?" Richie buried his nose against the boys ear. "Wouldn't miss it for the world..."
A/N: This is short but the next chapter will probably be the last for this book, I hope the people who had read it have enjoyed it. Thank you.
