DEMI P.O.V.: after showering, Joe and I decided to go to the beach and eat breakfast there.

Joe: did you get mad at Sophie?

Demi: for meeting with Nick today? (He nodded and I shook my head) I'm not mad, it just surprised me that she invited him and not me and not you...like, they dropped us here

Joe: yea, right...if I can be honest with you (I nodded) I'm kinda afraid of them being together today

Demi: she won't cheat on you, that's for sure

Joe: that's not what I meant. What can she possibly ask him about? That has to do with me

Demi: I don't know, what do you think it is? (He sighed and played with his hands)

Joe: maybe she's gonna break up with me and she doesn't know how to do it

Demi: what? I don't think that's possible, Sophie loves you (he shrugged)

Joe: what else could it be? Why would she ask Nick when she can ask you anything? It's probably that...I'm sure I fucked it up

Demi: why? What did you do? (He gasped slightly)

Joe: I don't know, that's the worst thing...I love her Dems, if she breaks up with me I don't know how I'm gonna handle it (I could see even through his sunglasses how afraid he was and it broke my heart, cause I've known him since I was 13/14 and I've never seen him like this)

Demi: no, I think you should think positively (I said and grabbed his hand across the table) look, I see love on her eyes when she looks at you, and I don't think you've done something wrong...it must be another thing Joe, stop worrying

Joe: if I lose her, I'm done (I shook my head)

Demi: no, hey...look at me (he looked to the sea) Joe...Joseph, fucking look at me (he glanced at me and I saw a tear on his cheek) I promise everything is gonna be okay, I'm sure that's not what they're talking about but if it was the case...everything would be okay too, cause you have a lot of people that loves you and needs you like I do, so stop saying those things (he pressed his lips together and squeezed my hand)

Joe: thank you. I don't know what I'd do without you...truly Dems (I smiled)

Demi: that's what I'm supposed to do, be here for you when you need it, right? We're best friends

Joe: of course (he smiled slightly at me and cleared his throat while I let go of his hand) how is everything going with Nick?

Demi: pretty good

Joe: I haven't seen you both this happy since a lot of years ago

Demi: (I nodded) well, he's a big part of my happiness now if I can be cheesy with you (we laughed)

Joe: I hope you know that he really loves you...I see it in the way he's constantly thinking of you and what you'd like him to wear and stuff like that (I bit my lip)

Demi: I think he's too much for someone like me

Joe: shut up, you're amazing and like the greatest friend and he loves you a lot. You deserve each other and I wish you all the happiness of the world. Just a little secret between us? (I nodded so he would continue talking) I have never ever seen him more in love with someone than how he's now with you, and I mean it

Demi: not even with Pri?

Joe: not even with her (I smiled big and blushed) ow, that's cute, you're blushing for him even when he's not here (I hit his arm and we laughed)

Demi: I hate you

Joe: I hate you too (he answered and we chuckled)

After what he told me about Nick, I couldn't feel worse about everything I said to Nick and how mean I was for something really stupid. I felt horribly bad.
