"Okay." I say, then I follow him out and down the stairs. We walk through a hallway then he opens a door.
"This is the school room. You will need to have Kevin down here every morning at eight for an online classroom session with a teacher and other students. Then he will start lessons with your help. His lunch is around noon, then he will have thirty minutes of playtime. Then he will finish up his online work. There is a secret room in here too." He says, walking towards a table. He steps on a square in the floor and the door opens under the table. "This one leads to another door inside there and it will lock and alert me. Like the one in his room only I can open this one. But the floor opening will open for anyone who knows how to open it."
"If the door opens but only Kevin is inside the second door?"
"Shut the door, Mecha will be here and will know where to find you." He says to which I nod my head. "I have cameras set up in both safe rooms. I will be able to see if it's both of you or not." He tells me. Then he turns and walks out. I follow him through the hallway. "Kitchen, I have a personal chef, they cook all meals. So you just have to have him in the dining room on time. Dining room is the next room over." He tells me heading back out into the hallway. I follow him out and back down the hall. We get back to the stairs. "That is all you need to see for now. Can you find the way back to the rooms? I will follow you." He says motioning for me to walk ahead of him. I start up the stairs. I get to the top and turn right, then I walk to my door. Once I make it there I turn and look at him. He nods his head and turns and goes into his room.
I go into mine and start unpacking. I am working on my last box when my phone rings. I look at it and almost cuss. I completely forgot about my date tonight. "Gavin, I need to postpone tonight. I just got a new job and it's live inside the clients house. So I am in the process of unpacking." I tell him.
"When did you want to reschedule for?"
"Friday evening?" I say as the door between David and my rooms open. I look up and see him standing there looking at me. "Hold on a sec Gavin." I say as I mute my side. "Yes."
"Who are you talking to?"
"My boyfriend." I tell him. He shakes his head and walks over to me. He holds his hand out for my phone. I hand it to him.
He unmutes it. "Delilah will not be seeing you again." He says, my mouth drops open. "I am the only man she will see." He says then hangs up. My phone starts ringing right away. He answers it. "No, and don't call back." He says before hanging up and turning off my phone. He turns around and starts walking out with my phone.
"I work for you. I think who I see in my personal time is my business not yours." I say causing him to turn and look at me. He starts walking towards me.
"You think you just happened to lose your previous job?" He says, I start walking backwards. "I have been watching you since you moved here. When I found out you were working for a sitter service I moved my sister and nephew in with me. I was planning on hiring you to help my sister with him. But your boss told me he just assigned you to a job. So I had the mother fired."
"What?" I ask.
"You are mine, and mine alone. You didn't happen to just get the job. I made that happen. Finish unpacking then go check on Kevin." He says as he get right in front of me. I nod my head, and wait for him to back away. He steps back and looks at me. "Never back talk me again."
"Okay." I reply then go to step around him. He turns and walks out of my room closing the door between the rooms. I finish unpacking the last box. Then I head over to Kevin's room. I knock on his door and he opens it.
"You're stuck here now too?" He asks me.
"No one is truly stuck." Is my reply.
"Uncle David runs the mafia." He says. I look at him stunned. "That's how he has so much power. Everyone is afraid of him. Except the people who killed my mom. But once he finds out they will fear him too."
"Do you need anything?"
"No I am reading your book."
"Okay if you need something you can come to my room and get me." I tell him. He nods his head and closes the door. I walk back into my room and close my door. I go to pull my phone out to get to my reading app, then remember he took it with him. I walk to the door connecting our rooms and knock. He opens the door. "Can I have my phone?" He looks at me. "It has my book I am reading on it. I won't call anyone I just want to read." He steps to the side and motions me inside. I step into his room and stop.
"If you have your phone you will be in a room with me." He says over his shoulder. "Where I can see you." He adds. I start walking towards him. He tosses my phone onto his bed. I pick it up and sit on the floor beside the bed. "I am going to be at my desk for a bit. The bed is more comfortable than the floor." He tells me, I stay where I am. He starts walking back towards me, and I look up at him. "Are you getting up on the bed?" He asks.
"No." I tell him. He picks me up and tosses me onto the bed. I go to get up until he looks at me. "This isn't okay, I have a boyfriend." I tell him.
"Not anymore you don't." He says, I just look at him. "You can call him to break up with him, but I meant what I said. You are mine and mine alone." I shake my head no. "No, you're sure." He says as he climbs onto the bed. I nod my head. He goes to say something else, but someone knocks on his door. "What." He snaps.
"We are waiting for you in your office." I hear Mecha say.
"I will be there in a few." He tells him. "This conversation isn't over. You stay right here until I get back. And do what I told you to." He says standing up. I watch him walk out.
