The Dark Abyss

The first clue I had was on Jack Ivanov,

I had asked William about Jack, but I got nothing out of him, he was oddly silent about William. I had done some research on him and I have found out, he lived in the same town to this day and so, I went to his house yesterday.

It was 9:00 am in the morning, I rang his doorbell and a tall white women opened the door, she was oddly odorless and had a thin white jacket on her, I asked her about Jack and for shortly 3 seconds, she looked at me as if there was something interesting about me, after which she called jack as loud as an ogre, her voice was oddly terrifying, but due to her outlook people would not think much of it and. Then, jack came towards the door gently pushing the tall women to the side and leaning on the door to face towards me, he was somewhat of a tall, skinny man with a freakish outlook, he had 1 large mole on the bottom of his chin, oddly enough, unlike that women, he was respectfully dressed as if he was to attend an office meeting. Then he spoke to me in a soft and discerning voice asking, who are you?, I hastily replied and then asked if he knew about William.

Then he asked, do you want to come in, then without a hint of doubt I accepted, then he opened the door and I came in, interestingly enough, William was right, the floor was cleaned to perfection as if the floor was drenched in cleaning products.

It's odd, that a man like Jack even existed, due to his appeal for cleaning products and inviting random people to his house.

I asked Jack if he knew William and how he had met him. Then, he had a concerned face, as if he knew William very well and asked if William was okay, but I had to lie to him or else he would not have told me anything of interest.

He replied saying that he met William a few days after the storm had transpired and had no recollection of the particular date and time they met, but he did mention that he met William at the town shelter looking after some people, I asked Jack about any particular people that he cared for and he gave me 4 names, David barret, kara Joyce, Keith Wolfe, and Stuart Jhonson smith. I asked about their addresses and Jack told me he did not know where they live, but he told me to go to the shelter and look for possible clues to their whereabouts. But, I do not understand something, that is how Jack knew these people, were they closely related or is it something of that ordeal

I also asked if he gave this diary to William, but oddly enough he said no!
