Chapter 26

"Let's worry about that later," Yoongi huffs, "We need to figure out what to do about the guys shooting at us." The bullets continue to echo throughout the empty theatre. The shots get close to them, but thankfully none have met their mark. Yet. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready to give the RAGE a piece of my mind. I'm not getting chased by these idiots until I reach my deathbed," Namjoon states, "It's time we stop running and show them that they can't mess with us." The others nod their heads in agreement, each with determined looks upon their faces. "Yeah! Let's get 'em!" Taehyung exclaims, pushing himself up from the floor. Jimin's eyes widen and he pushes the other back down. "Hold on! I don't know how smart of an idea it is to go and attack the guys with guns. We don't have anything to defend ourselves except for our fists!" Jimin says.

"We all know that's not going to work. You all remember what happened last time we tried to fight people one on one," Jin mutters.

"I thought we agreed on taking the RAGE on. How do we do that if we're not attacking them now?" Jungkook questions.

Namjoon looks to the others, "It's simple. We're still taking them on. Just not this second. We're going to be smart about this. I say we get out of this place first and then talk about what we're going to do about the RAGE. Agreed?" The rest of them nod their heads. "There's a side exit over there," Hoseok says, looking to the right. The boys turn their heads to look at the door. "Alright, on my count, we make a run to that door and get the hell out of here," Namjoon says.

"Wait!" Jin exclaims, "The bags of stuff we took."

"They're on the floor over there. It's too dangerous for us to go try to get it. We have to leave it behind," Jimin says.

Jin shakes his head, "We need those things."

"Don't be stubborn," Jimin huffs.

"I'm not. The items in that bag were used to patch up your brother not too long ago. We don't know what could happen while we're running. We need that stuff," Jin states.

Jimin rolls his eyes, "Fine."

"Okay, grab the bags quickly and get out," Namjoon states, "One, two, three! Go!" The boys all dash off the stage and rush towards the bags. They wince as more bullets rain around them, fearful of getting shot. Each of them grab a bag and hurries towards the side door. They don't hesitate as they file out of the theater and run out of the amusement park.

The boys run for a while, trying to put as much distance between them and the RAGE as possible. They don't stop until they reach an old empty pool. They climb down into it and trudge over to a mattress that sits in the center. They all sit down and breathe heavily. "Can we never run that much again?" Taehyung says in a breathless tone.

"Agreed," Yoongi huffs.

"Well, hopefully, we won't have to. The RAGE shouldn't find us again," Jin says.

Jungkook frowns, "Are we sure about that? We never figured out why they found us at the amusement park in the first place."

Jimin frowns, "They shouldn't have found us. We left everything that they used to track us before behind."

"It doesn't make sense," Hoseok states, "If we left everything behind, how did the RAGE find us?" The group fall silent, thinking about a possible answer. "Maybe, it was just luck?" Taehyung suggests.

"No way, there has to be a tracking device somewhere on us. There's no way they just found us. They would have had to be extremely lucky to have entered the amusement park, and to have known that out of all the places we could be at, we were at the theatre," Namjoon says.
