Yoon Se Ri and Ri Jeong Heyok have couple rings, now... It's official: they are engaged. They wnat to be in each other's life, forever... But, what changes could that bring to their lives, and most of all, how will this disturb their emotions? Are they ready for the next step?

Se Ri was sitting on her bed, admiring her ring, that special ring, from that moment on, the jewel she would treasure the most... Jeong Hyeok had really exceeded her expectations, who would have thought a northern prince would become the man of her dreams?

She was still smiling, remembering the way he had entered her room, so shy, so elegant... making such a fuss, on how his gift wasn't such a big deal... but it was. It meant the world to her. For so many times, men had given jewels and rings as a commitment but she had rejected them all... could it be because she was waiting for him? Could it because her heart could no longer bare so much love? Could it be because she didn't have to search for her other half, since he was exactly under her roof, so perfect, so manly, so tempting, exactly what she had wished for, for so many years?

Was that moment sealing their love? Was that moment an official statement he wanted everyone to know she was his and he was hers?

- Jeong Hyeok... you keep surprising me... What am I going to do with you? – she whispered, kissing her ring with devotion. – You ask me not to give a special meaning to this? How can I not? This is my ring... an engagement ring... given to me by the man I love... It has all the meaning in the world... You really, really know how to make a girl's heart flutter...

And that was it. Yoon Se Ri was officially engaged and boy, that surely did taste good! Off the market, dedicated to one man... even if that man was miles away, her heart had been taken by this northern prince, she had been swapped way and she really didn't care about the rest. He was there and only that moment counted...

Two rooms away, Jeong Hyeok was also thinking about that intimate moment... on how everything made sense, as if his life was a puzzle and Yoon Se Ri was the missing piece for him to be happy. Every step in his life had made him come closer to her so, why denying he would be miserable without her? That ring he had given her... his ring... a symbol of their bond, of their love... he would wear it forever, because she would be forever in his heart... She was his everything and pretending otherwise would be stupid. Blocking his feelings for her, not allowing himself to feel, to love, to experience all he could with her made no sense...

But, could he ask her to wait for him, once he'd leave? Could he ask her not to have fun anymore with other men, even if the thought of it was just too painful to him? What if she'd face that ring as some sort of obligation towards him? Some sort of prison, forcing her to keep a promise he had no right to ask of her? He just wanted her to be happy, not to wait forever for something that could never happen...

He went to his men room. All was quiet, they were sleeping so deeply a train could pass right next to them, no one would wake up... not a very good thing for a military squad but, then again, they had been through so much since they had arrived Seoul, he had to give them a discount...

He stood in front of Se Ri's room. The lights were still on, so he gently knocked, waiting for an answer. He knocked again and Se Ri opened the door. With the ring still on her finger...

- Jeong Hyeok... come in!

- It won't take long...

- Just come in... - she gently pushed him by the sleeve and closed the door, behind them.

- How are the guys?

- Asleep... like five babies!

- Poor things... they should be so tired! It has been easy for them neither...
