The destiny plays another trick - episode 1 - season 2

The fifteen days of love in Switzerland, lived by Yoon Se Ri and Jeong Heyok have ended... so now what? What other surprises are being set by destiny to our favourite couple?

This new scene is the first one, of a new collection of texts on what could be season two, to Crash Landing on you... as usual, I reaaly hope you can enjoy my imagination and my point of view on what could happen in the future, to Yoon Se Ri and her Ri Jeong Hyeok...

- What's the matter with you, Yoon Se-Ri? You never get sick every time you have to speak in public...

It was the third time Yoon Se Ri was vomiting, that morning. She was the winner for the Entrepreneur Woman of Asia Award and she would receive that prize at a ceremony in Seoul. A speech was predictable however, something just wasn't right, that day. That sudden sickness, the nausea... she decided to call off the meetings for the day. She would go home and rest for a while, before heading to the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center.

«Could it be a virus?», she thought to herself. She touched her forehead... no fever, but always that sense of being unwell...

When she arrived home, she took an aspirin and went to bed. Oh, if only she could miss that event...

On her way home, she had called her mother so, minutes later, Han Jung-Yeon entered Se Ri's room, surprised to see her daughter in bed, at that time of the day:

- Yoon Se-Ri, dear... what's the matter? What are you feeling? – she immediately reached her, and feared the worst, seeing her so pale, so weak, as if she was about to collapse. – Did you eat anything?

- No... I tried but I throw up everything I eat...

- You have eaten something that wasn't in the best conditions... food poisoning maybe... since when do you feel this way?

- Today morning... I... - Se Ri felt she was about to vomit one more time, so she jumped off the bed and ran to reach the bathroom. Soon after, her mother joined her and passed her a fresh towel, to pass on her face...

- Oh dear... how will you go to the ceremony today? You were so happy... but you can't go like this! You can hardly stand up...

- Believe me, it's the least of my concerns, right now...

- I'll stay with you... I'll ask your maid to cook a chicken broth, ok?

- No... no broth, just the thought of it makes me... - she tried to vomit again but her stomach was already empty and so sore, she started crying.

- Ok, ok... no broth, I got it...

Han Jung-Yeon helped her daughter returning to the bedroom.

- It's the first time I see you like this... - her mother couldn't stop staring her, as if she was trying to figure out the diagnosis of that sudden sickness. – You were so happy, with those fifteen days with Jeong Hyeok and all... Oh dear, could it be something you caught there? A virus? I don't know... but you have no fever so... perhaps it's not a virus... I'll ask for a camomile tea...

Se Ri saw her mother leave the room. She was so well until the day before, feeling so full of energy now ... and when she had received the phone call in Switzerland, two weeks ago, informing her that she had been voted to win that award had really made her happy, she had worked so hard and now, because of that stupid sickness she couldn't go...

- There... take it slowly... it's hot but it'll do you good... - her mother handed her the cup, with a delicious camomile tea on it. While watching Se Ri taking the cup, she couldn't help but thinking those symptoms were quite familiar to her, especially after having given birth to two boys... But before she'd jump to any conclusion – she couldn't forget Se Ri was alone in Seoul, without her Jeong Hyeok to support her, in an eventual emotional shock – she'd convince her daughter to call for a doctor...
