Personal note:

Hello friends and readers, first of all, thank you for your support. These past two weeks were emotionally complicated for me. My mother passed away and I couldn't find the mood and the inspiration to create. Until today. So, I'm sorry for having no updates until now... but I hope you can understand my lack of inspiration!

Today's episode is dedicated to my mother and I hope you enjoy each line because it's a special chapter to me.

I hope I can start writing more often and I hope I can share a new episode on thursday! Once again, thank you for your HUGE support!

Jeonk Hyeok couldn't stop himself from staring at his wife. His beautiful wife. One of his hands was resting on her belly, as if he wanted to tell his twins everything was going to be alright, now daddy was there. Se Ri had fallen asleep, secured in his arms. He knew the day after would bring new changes, he knew life wasn't that simple for the both of them but he wouldn't want it any other way. She was his other half. She was the woman, the only woman who was able to make him feel complete so if he was ready to face all the consequences just to have the hope to, one day, be happy with her and their children...

The sound of someone approaching the tent made him tense but he quickly realised it was Ye-jin, with a bowl of soup and some kimchi, for him. He gladly accepted it, in silence.

- I would like a few words with you, if it's ok... - she whispered.

- - Of course, I'll be out in a minute...

Ye-jin sat at the entrance of the tent. Jeong Hyeok left Se Ri, after making sure she was cosy enough.

- Ma'am...

- Sit next to me, for a while... I believe we have some things to discuss, here.

Two opposite forces, protecting one woman, was something hard to believe if that woman was not Yoon Se Ri.

- You already know by now... well... Yoon Se Ri is...

- She is your daughter. Her father explained it to me. I believe you shared quite a love story, he told me...

She seemed to smile. She was a beautiful lady, despite that brown uniform, very feminine, dark eyes – exactly the same as Se Ri's, full cherry lips, her long, dark hair tighten in a ponytail... She was more petite than Se Ri, her like marble and a scar, above her right eye, the mark of one time she had been tortured in the capital...

- Listen, Jeon Hyeok... we risk too much having you here, but I had to come to my daughter's rescue. Today, we managed to kill almost all the gang except three of them... they must be around, because as I know, Se Ri made a deal with them, to pay her ransom, so the leader must be eager to get his hands on her, to get his share, do you understand? You must take her out of here... as soon as possible. As much as I love having her around me, the thing is, she is in danger. He will try to kidnap her one more time and I fear for the consequences.

Jeong Hyeok understood she was being honest about the situation. The Chinese mafia was something too serious to be underestimated.

- How do you plan to take her out of here?

- First thing in the morning. I'll take her to my parents' house. She'll be safe then, until the secret services will rescue her 'till Seoul. It's the best way possible.

- It sounds like you have everything under control. I'm glad.

- You... you are staying?
