She shouldn't
She knows she shouldn't
Yet she does
Her heart shouldn't belong to him
After she declared to the world
She was over it
Now here we go again
With her heart in his hands
She pleads for him to hand her his
She does not carry his heart
Even with the late night FaceTimes and 'I love you's
The glances they steal from each other
He is not hers
And she is his
She does not know where the line is
Of what's too much
What's too far
Her hope is always high
but she is never blind
She's simply a fool
A fool that refuses to let go
To realize that there will be no happy ending
He will never be hers
She is a fool that is not blind
She sees the signs and she acknowledges them as so
She does not care
If it means to feel a bit of happiness and a simulation, a taste, of being his
She'll walk through the flames and then soak herself
Only, it will be with gasoline
She shouldn't
She knows she shouldn't
And she still does
She loves him with all of her heart
Every broken piece
She is a fool
