**Kayla dreaming**
I stare out the window as the snow falls and sticks to the ground. I'm getting married today to Christian. I have a white dress on and my hair and makeup is done. My mom walks into the room, "it's time to go Kayla,"
I turn my head from the window and look at my mom. "Oh Kayla, you look so beautiful," my mom walks over to me and pushes a hair away from my face. "The limo is here, we need to go to the church," she takes my hand.
We walk outside and in the limo sits, Casey and my three cousins Lilian, Theresa, and Zoe who are all wearing red dresses because they are my bridesmaids, but Casey's dress is strapless and fancier because she is my maid of honor, and she's older than my cousins. The limo drives us to the church where I am helped out of the vehicle, and my bridesmaids hold my dress behind me as I walk inside. I have to wait a while before I can walk down the isle, everyone has to go before me, but my dad is right next to me because he is walking me down the isle. "You know, Christians a really good kid, there's no one else I would rather you marrying then him," he nudges my shoulder. "Thanks daddy," I smile and give him a hug. "I love you Kayla," he says. "I love you too," I whisper.
The lady my mom hired as a wedding planner says, "Kayla, are you ready?" and hugs me. "Y-yeah I think so," I say despite how nervous I am. "Alright when I open this door you guys just walk down the isle and you're ganna stand right across from Christian. Walk slow and remember to smile, just like how we planned,"
"Okay," I say as my dad and I link arms. The doors open and a room full of people, half I don't even know are standing and looking at me. Christian is in front of the room standing with a priest, my brothers (Ben is his best man) and two of his cousins. My mom, Casey, and my bridesmaids are on the other side standing in a line and holding a bundle of roses, similar to mine. My feet feel wobbly as I walk down the isle closer and closer to Christian. As I walk, the people standing around me are staring at me smiling. I make an attempt to smile but it's hard under all this pressure. When we reach the front of the room, dad gives me a kiss on the cheek and nods his head at Christian who nods back, and then my dad gets in line.
The priest starts talking and I don't even listen, Christian and I just look at each other. After he talks for a really long time which felt like hours, he says "Christian, do you take this lovely lady to be your wife?"
**End of dream**
I wake up and realize that I am still outside with Christian who is also asleep. "Shit," I curse and pull my phone out of my pocket, its 5 o'clock! We've been out here for hours! "Christian! Wake up," I shake his arms with my hands. His arms are numb and freezing, but wakes up thought. "What," he moans rubbing his eyes. "It's 5 a.m. We fell asleep and it's freezing are your arms are all numb," I explain. "Oh," he says and puts his head back down on my shoulder. "Christian I have to go back to my room," I giggle while trying to pull him up. "I'm coming," he sighs and stand up. We walk into the lobby but no one is in there. "I'll ask my parents about having you over," I say. "Ok," he yawns and pulls me into a hug. His arms hug me tight around my waist and I could stay there forever, but I have to go. "Don't go," he begs when I try to pull away. "I have to get back to the room, and you do too," I chuckle. "Fine," he gives in and I kiss him on the cheek. "Bye," he says and I turn to get into the elevator. I press the button for my floor and the elevator rises. When I get onto my floor I step out and go to my room. I carefully and silently open the door and slip into bed and it's not long until I am able to fall asleep.

There's a knock on the door at around 10 in the morning. Casey stands up to answer it and a few minutes she come back in and says, "We are checking out in a half an hour, pack up,"
I stand up and start folding up clothes and carefully placing them in my bag. "I woke up in the middle of the night and you weren't in bed," Casey says sternly. I freeze. "Um I had to go to the bathroom" I try, hoping she didn't check the bathroom when she woke up. "Oh," she says and I sigh with relief. I pack the rest of my stuff and carry my bag down the elevator with Casey in silence. When we get to the lobby her parents are there already checking out at the desk. As we do the same, from the corner of my eye I see the elevator door open. Christian step out and we both see each other. He looks like he's about to say my name or something but I give him a look so he doesn't. As we are leaving out the hotel, I walk behind Casey and her family. At the very last second I turn around and my eyes meet Christian's. I give him a smile and he return the favor and I turn to keep walking out. The reason I turned around was because that I know that that could have been the last time I ever see him.But thankfully it wasn't. I got home and told my mom about Christian and she said that she would love to meet him tonight. Before I knew it, I was wearing a red sweater with a black skirt with a pair of chelsea boots with my hair and makeup done to a point. I nervously sit on the edge of my bed. It's one thing to be nervous about your dad meeting a boy, thats normal, but being nervous about eating food at the same time is a lot. The door bell rings and within seconds I am on my feet sprinting to the door. I take a deep breath before opening it and plot twist! There's my neighbor, Dona, with a tray of cookies. What? "Hi Mrs. Dona," I say taking a breath of relief. "Hi Kayla, I made you and your family some cookies for the holidays," she said handing me the tray with at least 30 cookies on it. "Oh thank you so much they look amazing," I say taking a big gulp. "Any time dear, I am sorry I can't talk today, I need to get home, but it was good seeing you," she says starting to walk away. "Ok have a good night," I smile. "You too dear," she says and I close the door.
I walk into the kitchen and drop the plate on the counter. My mom is cooking some salmon for dinner. "Mrs. Dona dropped off some cookies," I say. "Well that was very nice of her," my mom says.
Just the the door bell rings again. I race to get it and there's Christian standing with a rose in his mouth and the rest of the dozen in his hand. I laugh and pull him in. "Hey," he says giving me a hug. My mom peers into the front hall from the kitchen. "Hi you must be Christian! I am Mrs. Riley it's so nice to meet you," my mom sticks out her hand and he shakes it. "It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Riley" Christian say in return, "I bought these flowers for you," he says handing my mom the bundle. "Ohh thank you," my mom says, "let me go put them in a vase, dinner will be ready soon you can go upstairs for now ig you guys want,""Sure," I chime in and we go upstiars to my room. I close the door behind us and he sits on my bed while looking around my room. "Your decore is very nice in here," he complements using a very serious voice. "Why thank you, I want to be an interior decorator when I am older so, this is how I practice," I also say in my serious voice. "I approve," he says.
"What do you want to be?" I ask to start a conversation. "I dunno," he shrugs, "I havent given it much thought yet,".
"Dinner's ready!" my mom yells from the kitchen. "Lets go," I say and he gets off my bed. My brothers come out of their rooms at the same time. "Oh Christian this is Nick and Ben, my two brothers," I introduce them. "Is this your boyfriend?" Ben jokes and hits me in the arm. "Go fuck a tree," I hiss at him. "Dont you fucking every say another fucking curse words, ok bitch," Nick says trying to sounds serious but starts laughing at his own joke. I stare him straight in the face and say, "Fuck you," and turn around and go downstairs for dinner.
