Author's POV

Anna sat outside the balcony of the living room and cried her eyes out.
"Heyyy... it's going to be okay!", She heard Minna who sat beside her and caressed her shoulders.
"How is it going to be okay in a day? We have the competition tomorrow! We are supposed to work hard today since we missed a day for practice already!!", Anna exploded.
"Y-you're worried about the competition?", Minna asked. She thought Anna had been crying because of the bitter memory that lead her leg to malfunction.
"If it wasn't for Jungkook, I wouldn't be like this. Didn't you see the determination and passion in his eyes? I know he doesn't say but his actions are enough to tell that he'd do anything to win. How am i supposed to help him win now? I let him down! He was so excited and hyped when we came but now... he's gloomy, all because of me.", Anna explained.
Minna sighed. She always had been like this. Putting others feelings and consents before her owns.
Minna was about to speak when another voice spoke.
"You didn't let me down. I am gloomy because I'm worried you might have injured yourself more than what it seems. It's true i want to win no matter what but your health is more important. Whatever happens, happens for a reason", Jungkook paced over to the girls.
Anna instantly wiped her tears as she heard Jungkook approaching them.
She looked at him as He knelt down to her eye level.
Anna gulped and told Jungkook that she won't give up easily.
"I-i won't give up Jungkook. I'll make you win this competition, i promise. It's just a vein contraction. It'll be okay in a few hours. Then i'll work hard! Even if it takes me the night to perfect it"
"No... you won't go hard on yourself. What if it happens tomorrow again? What if it turns worse?", Jungkook questioned.
"It won't!", She protested.
"He's right Anna! Why are you so sure it won't happen again?", Minna spoke up cause only she knew the truth behind it.
"Because... because it only happens once in a blue moon", Anna stated, to which Jungkook and Minna couldn't help but sigh, Not feeling enough with her reason.
"Here take this...", The three of them turned around to find Taehyung and Bomin. Taehyung handed Anna a little bottle which seemed to contain some sort of oil in it.
"If it's a vein contraction and you plan on continuing then massage with oil. It will surely soothe it out.", Taehyung descripted.
Anna nodded, "Thank you Taehyung-ah", and gave a slight smile.
"Let me do it for you!", Minna volunteered and took the bottle from Anna's grip.
She massaged Anna's leg with the oil and it did soothe the pain. After massaging for a few minutes, Minna was done and Taehyung told Anna to try walking.
Anna slowly got up with Jungkook's help and surprisingly she could walk. Never in these six months did it soothe out this quick. But today it surely did and all thanks to Taehyung.
"It's- it's okay now... i mean I don't feel the contraction anymore", Anna grinned at the others who smiled back her.
"Let's get back to practice now!", She chirped.
"NO!", Minna and Jungkook scolded.
Making Taehyung, Bomin and Anna flinch.
"Uhh... i am totally fine now guys... believe me on this one!", Anna pleaded and the two couldn't help but let her be.
They sighed and nodded. Anna's smile got bigger and she dragged Jungkook and Bomin by their hands towards the studio.
Minna and Taehyung were left behind. Minna took this opportunity and asked Taehyung, "how did you know it'll help? I mean it's hard to understand what they're going through and you still got it right"
Taehyung shrugged and just replied simply, "You could say i know more than i should"
This only confused Minna. Taehyung noticed and changed the tensed mood.
"Hey! Come on let's go and check how're they doing!", He nudged her out of her thoughts and both of them went inside the studio watching the two perform as Bomin recorded.

*Next day*
*At University's hall*

Everyone was prepared for the competition. The juniors had settled in their seats, excited for the dance competition.
The dance teachers took their places as well, ready to start the show and judged each duo accordingly.
While at the backstage, the participants couldn't help but feel nervous.
Anna silently prayed so that her leg won't betray her at this moment.
Minna noticed her sister being more than a nervous wreck and held her hand tightly which helped Anna to stay a little more calm than she was.
Soon the competition started and the participants performed according to the setlist.
It was now finally Jungkook and Anna's turn. Both them took a deep breath and nodded at each other, jesturing that they can do this.
The duo performed and the juniors couldn't help but cheer out louder. It was shocking for the judges upon how loud the cheering was. And no doubt Jungkook and Anna had totally owned the stage.
As Jungkook and Anna heard the cheering, both of them smiled brightly at each other, gaining even more confidence and poured out their best.

The performance ended. The two bowed and ran backstage with bright smiles on their faces as met Taehyung and Minna.
And now it was their turn to rock off the stage.
As their names got called, Taehyung and Minna smiled at each other and started the performance.
In between the performance, where there bodies touched each other's with a firm eye contact, they could feel butterflies fluttering in their stomach and both of them wondered if the other felt the same. Oblivious that both of them are slowly falling for each other.
Feeling each other's breath on their faces, only a few inches apart, it was hard to control themselves in front of the crowd that seemed to react wildly as enjoyed the beautiful choreography.
Every inch of their bodies screaming to get even more closer. But they had to refrain. They couldn't do this and both of them knew that very well.

They finished the performance, bowing as they ran backstage meeting with the other two of their friends.
Four of them hugged each other, totally satisfied with what they had performed.
A few of the participants that were left also performed and now it was the time for results.
There were three ranks meaning there will be three winners with different positions.
The first and actual winner was supposed to be selected by the votes of the audience as well as the judges. For second position, the audience were to vote and then the judges had to elect for the third position.
"Okay... time for results, i'll call out the top three names and then i'll tell the ranks. if i call your name... please step forward", The host which was our english teacher called out.
"Taehyung and Minna!", She called out.
Both of them looked shocked yet happy and stepped forth.
Anna and Jungkook gave them big smiles and thumbs up.
"Yugyeom and Lisa", The teacher yet called out.
By this point, the anxiety and nervousness increased even more as Anna glanced at Jungkook with a worried expression. Jungkook grabbed her hand and whispered to her, "everything's gonna be fine"
"And lastly... Jungkook and Anna!", both of them turning to each other with biggest smiles and stepped forth as the host thanked and appreciated the rest of the participants.
"And now for the ranks! I'll start of with third position... the winner for this deserving position is... Yugyeom and Lisa!", The Teacher said out loud as the audience cheered.
The other four congratulated the duo and felt nervous that they were up against each other for first and second position.
"Now... for the second position, please brace yourselves... it's Taehyung and Minna!", Again the audience cheered for the two while Anna and Jungkook stood there in shock that they actually won the competition.
"And yes finally! This makes Jungkook and Anna the winner of the competition! Congratulations guys! You deserved it!", The teacher praised as the judges handed over the prizes and trophies over to the deserving ones.
"WE DID IT!!", Anna squealed as she Turned to Jungkook and the two hugged each other.
"I am so happy you guys actually did it!!", A voice from Anna's back spoke, it was Minna.
"I am happy as well!!", Anna squealed yet again and hugged Minna, congratulating on their success as well.
Jungkook and Taehyung also fist bumped and hugged each other, overly excited about their success.
They got off the stage and soon met their hoobae.
"Wow! I mean you guys literally owned the stage! You really deserved it! Congratulations!", Bomin greeted the four.
"Why don't we all go out and celebrate the night away?", Jungkook suggested.
"That's more like it! You guys are gonna treat me! Right?", Bomin grinned at Minna specifically, intended to piss her off.
"Shoo away! I ain't spoiling my mood for you today!", Minna winked.
The rest chuckled at her response.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's get going!", Bomin cheered and everyone followed.
