27.

Anna's POV

Jungkook and I were now on our way back since Taehyung texted Jungkook that he has something important to tell us.
Jungkook tried calling Taehyung but he wouldn't pick his phone up. I called Minna, but she didn't answer either so We concluded that something wrong's going on.
After about an hour and a half, we reach outside the cafe.
Jungkook parked the car and both of us flew out.
We ran in looking around for familiar faces, praying that they're safe.
"Anna! Jungkook! Here", We heard from our right. We glanced and saw Taehyung placing four ice creams down on the table as Minna waved at us.
Jungkook and I have each other a tired look before advancing towards the two who seemed to be perfectly fine.
We took a seat and saw Minna looking happier than usual.
"You guys could have answered your phones!", Jungkook complained before taking a bite from his ice cream.
"Yah... what's up with you two?", Taehyung asked as he tried to pinch my cheeks but i slapped his hands away.
"Don't even try! You two seem even worse than those gangs and mafias right now!", I hissed and took a spoon full of my ice cream.
"Woah woah woah... what made you this grumpy?", Taehyung retorted.
"Seriously? You just texted us like some hell broke out and then none of us picked up your phone while actually you're just enjoying the best of your lives sitting here", Jungkook exclaimed.
"Oh... about that, my phone was on silent", Taehyung smiled at us sheepishly.
"M-mine too", Minna stuttered while showing us an awkward smile.
Jungkook and I sighed.
"What is it about anyway? It better be something nice since you made us drive for an hour and a half back in rush", I complained.
"An hour and a half? Where the heck did you two go?", Minna asked.
"You! Are not in the position to ask anything lady! Explain first", Jungkook answered her.
Suddenly,  i saw her glancing at Taehyung before breaking out into a huge grin.
Her expressions weirded me and Jungkook out.
Both of us had our noses slightly scrunched and eyebrows furrowed.
"Well... we're officially dating, so we called you for the treat", Taehyung spoke, grabbing all our attention.
"Wait-... did i heard it right?", Jungkook asked.
"D-date... you said?", I asked in addition.
Making the two nod in response.
"Oh-," Jungkook started.
"My-," I followed.
"Gosh," we ended as we broke out into smiles.
"Finally!!", Jungkook cheered.
"Oi! Kim Taehyung... you better treat her well!", I acted, trying to speak in a manly voice.
"Neh!! Hyungnim!!", Taehyung replied and bowed, making us all chuckle.

Author's POV

After the four of them were done, they got up and went towards their cars while joking all along.
The boys had to now drop the girls off at their house so each of them said they'd bring them back even though the girls lived at the same place.
Jungkook and Anna went in their car while Minna and Taehyung went in theirs.
Both the drivers decided to take a different route, that is most likely to have no cars or humans around at such hour.
Jungkook and Taehyung were having a little race battle. The girls were enjoying their best while making faces at each other, mocking at who's gonna win, every time the cars went next to each other.
At one point, Taehyung stepped on the accelerator and went ahead of Jungkook.
Jungkook stepped on the accelerator as well.
But something absurd happened.
Anna And Jungkook watched in horror as the car in front of them lost control.
On the other hand, Taehyung tried his best to control the car but saw someone standing in the middle of the road, making him fiddle with the steering wheel in order to save the person from getting hurt.
Minna witnessed everything, thinking how it was about to end.
And soon the Car crash with a force, Minna's and Taehyung's head jerked forward, hitting with much force, making them loose their consciousness.
Jungkook and Anna got out of their car and ran of to the two.
Anna opened Minna's door as Jungkook did the same but it was locked.
Jungkook couldn't risk break the window since the glass could harm Taehyung so he broke the back window.
Putting his hand in through and unlocking the doors.
Anna and Jungkook then opened the doors and shook their bodies.
"Yahh... wake up!", Anna cried as she glanced at the two.
But what the two didn't know was... some one who crept up behind them, hitting their heads with much force, making them pass out next to their friends.

Minna's POV

I opened my eyes and squinted. My head ached.
I tried remembering what had happened and eventually it all came to my mind.
I glanced around and saw three people. It was dark and since they were laying down, I couldn't make out the faces but it has to be Anna, Jungkook and Taehyung.
I tried moving, but I couldn't. I look down and saw my feet and hands were all tied together with metal cuffs. The middle chain of the cuffs that were tied around my feet, was trapped with a metal pole next to the wall.
There was no way opening them without a key.
My head immediately jerk up when i heard a groaning.
I looked closely and it was Jungkook.
"Jungkook-ah...", I said slowly since my head still ached.
Jungkook's eyes met mine.
"Minna..?", He narrowed his eyes, probably trying to trace my face out.
"Yeah...", I blurted but stopped as Taehyung and Anna groaned in unison and sat up.
"What the heck is going on?", I heard Anna as she rubbed the back of her head, and noticing the hand cuffs.
I saw Taehyung silently observing around the room.
"Fuck no..", he whispered but the dead silence was enough to let the four of us make out his words.
"You know where are we?!", Jungkook asked Taehyung.
Taehyung sighed and was about to replied when the door opened, footsteps could be heard for the mean time and in the matter of seconds a man in his fifties entered the room.
He gestured his men to stay out, leaving him alone with us, as the closed the door behind him.
Two of more bulbs were now lightened, making it easy for us make things out.
"What a great coincidence...", The man spoke.
I couldn't help but look at him with fire burning up inside me.
It was... Kim JaeJoon. Taehyung's step father.
"My son is friends with these girls, who once have had a past with me and a special agent's precious brother...", He let out a dark laugh.
"What the fuck do you want?", Taehyung growled.
"Ooo calm down my boy. Leave the anger for later. Cause believe me you'll need it", Jaejoon smirked.
I saw Taehyung clench his teeth in anger.
Jaejoon paced closer, more particularly in my direction before squating down in front of me.
My gaze burning holes into his.
"I see you held up well after your brother", He smirked.
"Thanks to you... who's always destroying families. Even your own", I hissed, my last words making his expressions turn dark.
"You better watch your words lady!", He growled. Making me smirk this time.
"Why? Truth hits hard right? You must have abandoned your wife and ruined someone else's family, claiming them as yours?", I spat.

Author's POV

A loud slap was heard across the room as soon as Minna spat out those words. Making Anna gasp and The boys struggle against their cuffs.
"Stop being a cowards and resolve it like a man!", Taehyung growled at Jaejoon, who obviously had no respect for a women.
"It's interesting how you've turned a son against his father. This is what you planned, right?", Jaejoon glared at Taehyung and then back at Minna. Spitting those words towards her.
The same moment, Anna noticed someone slipping through what seems like another door.
He had his hood over his face so she could detect his face. While Jungkook grabbed a pin that had fell of off Anna hair.
He secretly struggled to open his cuffs.
On the other hand, Minna let out the words that triggered Jaejoon even more.
"You think i'd go that low like you?", She scoffed at him.
Jaejoon grabbed her hair this time pulling it backwards.
Minna hissed in pain and closed her eyes for a split second before controlling her expression showing him that she's unaffected.
"You're too bold for my liking, you bitch", Jaejoon spat at her and took out his gun.
Anna, Taehyung and Jungkook seemed to halt as Jaejoon placed the gun on Minna's temples.
"I told you to watch your mouth! But i guess the faster, the easier", Jaejoon spoke with a venomous tone.
And in a matter of seconds,
A loud gunshot was heard...

And the blood splattered around.
