Author's POV

The rolling bus came to halt. It was half dangling.
Everyone inside the bus moved their heads and took a glance around.
Everyone was breathing heavily, their faces, arms, necks, legs were now covered with wounds as the glass pierced into their skin.
They gasped to breath in the fresh air and soon one of them got up, making the bus move like a seesaw.
To everyone's horror, they stopped their moves and glanced out to get the actual view.
"Shit! We need to get out as soon as possible!", Mr Lee spoke.
"Wait! Don't move! Pleasee", Taehyung stated.
He studied the situation. And came to the result that the ones at the back of the bus should remain the balance for now.
The back window was all broken, their only way of escape.
"Starting from the driving seat, you guys take advance to the back slowly, then make your way out! We, the ones at the back, must remain this way to keep the balance or the bus is gonna fall forward", Taehyung guided.
Everyone nodded and did as Taehyung explained.
The bus would jiggle in between, shaking their hearts to the end. But half of them succeeded with the passage of time and struggle.
It was now the hardest part. The ones keeping the balance, how are they supposed to get out.
Jinyoung, Yugyeom, Jungkook, Taehyung, Anna and Minna were the ones left.
"Let the girls go first", Jinyoung spoke as the boys nodded in agreement.
Minna and Anna looked at each other and gulped.
Anna got up first and to their luck the bus jerked.
The girls screamed and remained in their places.
"It's too risky! Both of you get out first!", Minna shrieked point at Jinyoung and Yugyeom since Anna and Minna sat the back.
They left with no choice but to agree with her. Jinyoung and Yugyeom made it out after alot of struggle. The bus jerked yet again.
Jungkook and Taehyung now glanced at the girls. Telling them to head out one by one.
"You have to get out fast!", Yugyeom retorted from outside.
Anna once again took a deep breath and slowly headed out as The rest helped her out. Minna followed her lead and as soon as she made it out. The bus advanced forward.
Jungkook and Taehyung had to run in order to get out. The rest shrieked in horror at the site in front of them.
Anna and Minna's heart clenched at the mere thought of what's yet to come.
Jungkook made it out in time but Taehyung had to jump since the bus had slipped from the support.
Minna screamed and shook her head as tears streamed down her face.
But she got a hold of herself as she witnessed Jungkook half dangling down. He managed to catch Taehyung's hand in time.
Jinyoung, Yugyeom and Mark ran forward, dragging jungkook and Taehyung up.
Anna and Minna let out a breath they didn't realise they were holding all this time and shared a glance with the boys who were breathing heavily on the ground.

*At 6:00pm*
The four gathered at Minna's place and called Yoongi as well. The five of them sat in the living room as Jungkook explained what he saw before the accident.
"It could be Jaejoon's men", Yoongi stated making Taehyung decline.
"No. They weren't his men! I saw them too", Taehyung spoke.
"Why? It's possible you might not know every single person working under your stepfather", Yoongi narrowed his eyes at Taehyung.
He was still suspicious of him.
"I know! But i saw a logo on the gun which I haven't ever seen before! Moreover, that was an attempt to kill us and I don't think jaejoon would do that when he's decided to announce me as the heir of the company as well as the mafia", Taehyung explained.
"Wait... what? He's gonna announce you as the heir of the company and mafia?!!", Yoongi exclaimed.
"Yeah... ever since he came back from his foreign trip, he's not been well", Taehyung sighed. The rest of the three sat there listening to the conversation.
"When and how is he planning on doing it?", Yoongi asked.
"I don't know when but he's going to hold up a gathering with the other companies and mafias", Taehyung answered.
Yoongi hummed and nodded, clearly thinking of something.
"Hyung... what are you planning?", Jungkook asked.
"We are going to attend that gathering", Yoongi retorted.
"What?!", Minna exclaimed.
"Yeah... we have to. Someone is already after you all, most probably Taehyung. And if he might try to harm him that day as well. Also, this might be a way to judge jaejoon's motive", Yoongi stated.
"So it's not just jaejoon now. We have to be careful of this anonymous attacker as well", Anna spoke up, to which Yoongi nodded.

It was dinner time and the girls were in the kitchen, preparing the dinner. Jungkook went in to help the girls. Taehyung was about to follow his lead when Yoongi stopped him.
"What's this for?", Taehyung asked confusingly as Yoongi handed him a micro chip.
"It's a microphone chip. I need you to put it where jaejoon's around the most!", Yoongi commanded, making Taehyung freeze.
Yoongi smirked at his reaction, "why? You don't want to back stab your father?", he teased.
Taehyung closed his eyes, clenching his jaw.
"No. But if i do this, then you have to know something because you're going to find out either way", Taehyung replied.
Yoongi tilted his head, starring Taehyung in eyes.
Taehyung looked around, making sure no one's in the reach to hear.
He then lean forth to Yoongi's ear before letting out the words that left Yoongi in shock,
"Agent Jung and Agent Park are alive"

*Monday*
Minna's POV

We were back at the university and our classes started like usual. The bell rang for the third period and thank god it was a free class.
I let out a breath and turn towards Taehyung who sat beside me. Other students had left the room so it was just us two.
I hesitated before asking him, "are you... going to become the mafia leader?"
Taehyung looked dead in her eyes.
He nodded slowly and replied, "why? Are you scared of me now?"
"N-no! Of course not!", I exclaimed but didn't say anything further and turned my gaze down.
I heard Taehyung sigh as he lifted my chin, making me look back at him.
"You're scared i might become someone who'll harm 'us' ?", He asked softly.
I just gulped and starred in his eyes.
"Minna-ya...", he started and grabbed my hands in his, intertwining our finger.
"Never will i ever do that. I am doing this because i might not have Another choice. If i decline, there are going to be bloody circumstances. And this might be the only way to end this mafia", he explained.
"Okay then, Know that I'm with you", i gave his hand a slight squeeze making him smile at me slightly.
He leaned forth, pecking my forehead. My thumbed rapidly. I was afraid he might notice it. But thank goodness he didn't say anything.

Taehyung's POV

I went home and stopped before My stepfathers office. I glanced at the closed door as i remembered the chip i put in there that night.
I shook the thoughts away and continued making my way towards my room.
I closed the door and sat on my bed, unlocking phone. My eyes caught "photo gallery", making me click.
Subconsciously, i smiled when i saw the video i asked Bomin to film.
I locked my phone and waited till midnight. Before pacing over to the lower basement.
I glanced around and took a deep breath before entering the room.
To my surprise, both of them were awake. They turned their heads in my direction.
"What brings you here?", Hoseok hyung spoke.
"I just wanted to show you something", I said and handed him my phone.
Jimin and Hoseok looked confused at first but bright smiles appeared on their faces as soon as they saw their girls.
As the video kept playing, I saw Jimin narrowing his eyes with a sour expression. Even Hoseok hyung's face turned expressionless, it made me think thoroughly about what could possibly go wrong.
"Who's he?", Jimin asked with a stern voice as soon as the video ended. He question was short yet intimidating.
"He's our friend", I shrugged.
"Friend?", he tilted his head, looking back at my phone before sighing.
"Can you do me a favour?", Jimin questioned.
"Uhh sure", i replied not knowing what's yet to come.
"Keep him away from her", He stated.
"What?!", I exclaimed.
"Yeah! Both of them are so dead when i get out from here. Who does he think he is? And how could she twerk in front of him like that?!", Jimin blurted.
"Yah! She wouldn't have done it if she knew she's still commited", Hoseok hyung interrupted.
"But this brat knew!", Jimin spoke pointing towards me.
"Me?!!", i asked pointing at myself. This wasn't turning how i expected it to be.
"You're right! He knew yet he did the same with my sister", Hoseok hyung's words made freeze.
'Shit! I should have just shown them their pictures', i thought.
"Aahh hyung! I-...", i stuttered not knowing what to say.
"Jimin-ah.. you might not be able to confront this guy here *pointing at the phone* but i surely can", He spoke with a deadly voice, making me gulp.
I looked at Jimin, silently begging him to help me as soon as i saw Hoseok hyung pacing over to me with a stern gaze.
"You called it yourself! I have never seen him this angry", Jimin shrugged, smirking afterwards.
Fuck! I'm dead.
Hoseok hyung stood right in front me but let out a chuckle.
I stood there stiff and confused. Jimin was also laughing.
"Yah! Breathe, will you? I'm not going to kill you", Hoseok hyung spoke making realise that i was holding my breath all this time.
I let out a sigh of relief and smiled slightly.
He turned me my phone and place his hand on my shoulder before telling me,

"Just protect them well. We count on you"
