Minna's POV

It was a total chaos as soon as the gun went off.
I immediately turned to look at Taehyung but he wasn't there.
I was busy looking for him when Yoongi approached me said that we have to leave. We went towards the stairs and saw Taehyung about to run out.
Yoongi and I caught up with him and called out for him to stop.
"He ran away", Taehyung exclaimed as he breathed heavily.
"Where are the others?", he asked.
"Guys!", Yoongi instantly spoke into the ear piece.

Anna's POV

As soon as the chaos broke out, Yoongi commanded us to leave the place. We took our things and was about to go down when a few men entered the rooftop.
"Get them!", One of them ordered his men.
"Hide your faces", Jungkook spoke as he and Bomin took their masks out of their pocket and wore them.
I searched for my clutch that had my mask but I couldn't find my clutch.
I found it near the boys who were busy fighting.
One of them was eager to advanced over to me.
I was left with no other choice then to rip my dress from the ends and tying it around my face.
As if on que, once of them made their way towards me.
I got into the position and kicked him in the stomach, making him stagger back.
As the daughter of a military officer and the niece of an agent, i knew well enough how to fight.
But of course I couldn't really fight a troop of bulky men.
The man charged back at me sparring with me for a few minutes.
He then came at me with full rage, pushing me down on the ground. I couldn't keep my balance due to the high heels. The man was about to take the cloth off when he was thrown off of me.
I looked up to see Jungkook as Bomin locked the rooftop door.
Jungkook helped me up. As he spoke into the ear piece.
"We can't get down through the stairs! We're being attacked", Jungkook exclaimed and soon we heard Yoongi's voice. "Guys!"
"Are you okay right now?", Yoongi continued as Jungkook as assured him.
"For now, we're okay. But I don't know if we're gonna be okay for long or not! How do we get out?", He exchanged his words with Yoongi.
"The building on the right! It's connected. Although it's somewhat low, but jump and get out through that building! We're getting the cars ready by the entrance!", Yoongi explained. Jungkook gave him an okay as a reply.
We ran the right to see the difference. Bomin jumped down first. It was hell of a jump. It was not a short fall at all!
Jungkook nudged me to go next. I sighed and took my heels off before throwing it to Bomin.
"What the heck are you doing?", Jungkook asked.
"I would definitely end up with a broken bone if i jump with that high of a heel!", I whined and got in the position to jump.
"Just jump already!! I got you!", Bomin retorted.
I took a deep breath as Jungkook and Bomin both helped me get down.
Soon after Jungkook jumped down and we ran towards the stairs.
And as Yoongi explained, three cars were already there.
We hopped into each one of them and drove off.
Once in, i turn to look at the driver.
My breath hitched for a few seconds before, letting it out.
"You startled me!", I told Taehyung. He smirked while focusing on the road.
"Wait!... i saw supposed to be in this car or not?", I shrieked looking behind me, trying to see if the other two cars were with us or not. Thankfully, they were.
I took a sigh of relief.
"No... i just thought of kidnapping you", He teased.
"Ha ha! You're not even scary right now", I tched at him, making both of us chuckle.
"You're okay, right?", I asked him as I remembered the gunshot.
"Yeah. He missed the shot! Don't worry", He gave me a sweet smile.

Minna's POV

Bomin got into the car. And i drove off.
I saw Anna getting in Taehyung's car, as Jungkook got in Yoongi's car.
"Are you okay?!", I asked Bomin on the way.
"Yeah... it was hectic. But i'm okay", He sighed, still breathing irregularly.
"Wait- why the heck are you carrying that?", I giggled as soon as i saw something in his hands.
"What- ... oh these! Your cousin threw them to me since she couldn't jump in these. I mean... she fought so well in these but she had to throw these to me before jumping. I bet she would have been fine if jumped in these", He blabbered making me laugh out loud.

Yoongi's POV
"No one's hurt right?", I asked Jungkook on the way.
"No.. no one's hurt", He replied with heavy breaths.
"Was it all recorded?", I questioned.
All that lingered in my mind was, who could it be and why was he after Taehyung.
"Yeah... it's all in here!", He answered point at the bag that had the laptop.
I sighed and nodded.

Minna's POV

All of gathered around Yoongi's house. It was okay for Taehyung to be there since he didn't have his phone that could be tracked.
"Do you have any idea who could it be?", Anna asked Taehyung as Jungkook treated her feet.
Her feet had a few scratches that were bleeding since she ran barefoot.
"No... I don't even understand why could some one be after me?", Taehyung answered.
"It must be related to you becoming the next heir", Yoongi stated.
"What do you mean?", I asked.
"The one who wants him gone, is probably doing this for the company and the mafia", he further explained.
"Even if i'm gone, how can they get the mafia or the company?", Taehyung questioned.
"That's the point! No one can take your position unless.... there's another possible heir", Yoongi answered.
"What are you trying to say?! We clearly saw Jaejoon had no child except for Taehyung and even he's not the biological child!", Bomin exclaimed.
"That's what we have to find out. There must be a missing puzzle. Something doesn't feel right", Yoongi retorted.
I glanced at Taehyung, trying my best to read his expressions.
But he had an expressionless face.

Author's POV
Everyone went home. But There was something that bothered Yoongi a lot.
He stayed up and turned his laptop on. He connected to the chip that he asked Taehyung to put in Jaejoon's meeting room.
"Sir... could it be him?", Yoongi heard a voice that he considered as Jaejoon's right hand.
"No... it couldn't be him! He's so powerless. He can't do this",he heard Jaejoon's voice.
And after that He heard Jaejoon ordering to find the culprit behind today's incident.
He turned his laptop off and sighed.
"Who could this 'him' be? What did he meant by 'he's so powerless' ?! Where are Jimin and Hoseok? Why is he keeping them secretly?", Yoongi whispered to himself before turning the lights off and drifting off to sleep with many thoughts on his mind.
