*Next day*

Author's POV

Taehyung's mother was still under observation. A few hours till they decide on her actual state.
He sat there in bloodied clothes.
Jungkook persuaded him to wash the blood off his hands.
He insisted That Taehyung must change his clothes too but Taehyung declined.
The three sighed at Taehyung's stubbornness and didn't say anything further.
The girls and Jungkook had to attend their classes. Minna told Taehyung that she'd cover up for him and the three went to attend their classes.
Taehyung sat there alone... with emotionless face. All he could think was to end his step father.
Not even a hour after, Taehyung felt someone sitting next to him. He gaze catching a shopping bag that the person had put next to his legs.
He slightly turn his head to glance at the owner.
And his eyes met Yoongi's.
Taehyung turned his head back to the floor. Not in the position to say anything.
Yoongi sighed and decided to speak, "it wasn't him"
His words confused Taehyung, making Taehyung turn to look at Yoongi once again.
Seeing his confusion, he cleared, "i know you think Jaejoon did this. But he didn't"
Taehyung narrowed his eyes at Yoongi.
"You're saying That fucker didn't hurt my mother when i clearly saw only him next to her?!", He growled at the mere thought of it.
Yoongi nodded. "Yes... Jaejoon did not hurt your mother"
"And can you be so sure of it?!!", Taehyung asked.
"Remember the chip i gave you... i was listening to Jaejoon and his assistant talking about the company matters when a maid ran in and told Jaejoon that your mother had been attack by a stranger, despite the security", Yoongi explained.
Taehyung processed Yoongi's words.
"If not him, then who could it be?", Taehyung questioned.
"Definitely the one who tried to kill you", Yoongi answered.
Taehyung's eyes widened.
"You mean the guy in the video?", Taehyung asked, making Yoongi nod in response.
"H-he can't... he is—," Taehyung got cut off my Yoongi.
"He is your brother, Kim Seokjin. I know", Yoongi finished.
"I know at this point it's hard to believe but he has to be a suspect", Yoongi exclaimed.
"I-... why would he do this?!! Why would he harm his own mother?!", Taehyung pointed out.
"I don't know for now. But there could be many reasons. Maybe he despised the fact that you got live with your mother when she sent them away? You never know how someone's brain works Taehyung-ah. We have to be cautious", Yoongi spoke.
Taehyung rubbed his hands against his face, frustrated at the situation.
"Go... change into these. I'll wait here incase the doctor comes", Yoongi patted Taehyung's back.
Taehyung slightly sniffled and obliged to Yoongi, grabbing the shopping bag before striding over to the washroom.
In the meantime, the doctor came in and told him that The internal bleeding has been controlled but she fell into coma and that she'd be transferred to a room soon.
Taehyung came back after the doctor left and Yoongi told him everything, including the room number.
"Rest for a while too... call a maid or someone to look after her. You don't seem good", Yoongi suggested Taehyung.
"Thanks hyung.. i'll think about it", Taehyung replied.
Yoongi nodded and told him to go to his mother as they bid byes and left their ways.

On the other hand, Anna and Jungkook exited out of the campus and were waiting for Minna at the gate when they saw some one familiar.
Anna and Jungkook instantly knew who he was.
The person approached these two as the shared a glance.
"Hi! Are you perhaps from the dance club as well?", The man asked.
"Yes... how may i help you?", Anna replied.
"Then... you might know Kim Taehyung?", he asked.
Anna and Jungkook looked at each other before jungkook answered.
"Yes... we know about him"
"Can you call him here? Or has he left the campus already?", Seokjin asked.
"Um... Taehyung didn't attend the classes today", Jungkook replied.
Seokjin looked a bit taken aback but asked further.
"Do you happen to know the reason?"
"His mother is hospitalised", a fourth voice spoke.
It was Minna.
The three turned to look at Minna with furrowed eyebrows.
"Hi! I'm Taehyung's class fellow", Minna introduced herself to Seokjin.
"Neh... what do you mean hospitalised? Which hospital?!", Seokjin asked in a panicky tone.
"Myeongwoo hospital", She answered.
She could feel Anna and Jungkook looking at her as if she's done something stupid.
Seokjin thanked Minna and left in a hurry.
"Are you in your senses?!!", Anna asked her cousin.
"What??", Minna asked back.
"That guy almost killed Taehyung and you're sending him there?", Anna retorted.
Minna sighed before replying, "i bet he'd do something over there plus he deserves to know that his mother is in hospital"
"She's right. Let's not worry since Yoongi hyung went there too", Jungkook assured the two.
They nodded and decided to meet Taehyung after changing their clothes from home and after cooking something for him.

Back at the hospital, Seokjin and Namjoon rushed in. Asking about their mother from the reception.
They tried calling Taehyung but the line won't connect because his phone's battery died.
They soon reached the room where their mother was.
Taehyung's head instantly shot up as two of his brothers rushed in.
They went near their mother, trying to control their tears. While Taehyung didn't know what to feel. He just stood there, observing everything.
Soon Seokjin and Namjoon's attention went to Taehyung. They went to hug him but Taehyung's hands just stayed by his side. His eyes completely dull.
"How did this happen?", Seokjin asked.
Taehyung scanned their faces without saying anything. But after a minute or so, he told them that some anonymous person attacked her.
"When did you two come back?", Taehyung asked, making the two brother look at each other. Taehyung noticed the tension between the two brothers and waited for reply.
"Just today... early morning", Namjoon answered. Taehyung instantly detected the lie. But stayed quiet.
"How did you know mom was here?", Taehyung further asked.
"Your class mate told us", Seokjin answered.
'Lies... all lies... none of my class mates knows. Moreover, I saw you in the party as well', was what ran through Taehyung's mind making him clench his fist.
He was hurt seeing his brother coming up with lies, which only supported what Yoongi said. But he stayed still.
He wanted to yell at his brother and punch him in the face. He wanted to ask them why would they do this, why would he lie to him, why do they want him dead. But he resisted.
Silence filled the room.
Namjoon and Seokjin were equally bothered by Taehyung's behaviour. He wasn't the little brother they talked over the phone with. He had completely changed.
They felt bad knowing what their younger brother and mother went through.
Seokjin patted Taehyung's shoulder with letting out a few encouraging words which were not trust wirthy to Taehyung anymore.
"We're with you now. We came here for good. We'll end this soon. I promise", Seokjin spoke.
Making Taehyung nod bitterly, he couldn't help but cringe inside.
He was burning with furry, making him take a deep breath before he looses his cool.
And to his help, Seokjin's phone rang which made them bid goodbyes for the time being as his brothers left to tend their business.

Leaving just Taehyung with his Mother.
