It was now the next morning and the doctors were busy with Maya.
Josh stood outside the window as he watched how the doctors took the mask off Maya's face relieved that she could breathe on her own.
He saw a bit of movement but wasn't sure what was going on even if he was just inches away.
"Good morning, Miss Hart. How you feeling?"
"Where's Josh?" Maya asked clearly still very weak after the operation but she was ready to see people.
"Get the guy standing here," the doctor told the nurse.
"Mr Matthews, she's asking for you," the nurse said as Josh rushed to Maya.
"Hey," Josh said.
"I'll check up later again," he said and was put of the room.
"How are you feeling?" Josh asked and Maya smiled.
"Okay," Maya said.
"I'm happy. You're gonna be okay. I know it. Now it's just healing," Josh said.
"Yeah," Maya said as Josh took her hand.
"You're gonna be fine. After these six weeks are done you are gonna be your good old self. Don't know if that's a good thing for me though," Josh said causing Maya to laugh.
