Chapter 12 - "Give me it back or she dies."

"Ein." Aphmau replies, coldly.

She hates him with a passion due to what he did to destroy her and Aaron.

"You know, I was hoping you'd show up." Ein smirks. "Since, I have a surprise for you, Aaron!" he directs his statement to Aaron, who scowls.

"Enough, Ein." Aaron mumbles.

Aphmau breaks into a jog and races to Aaron only to be grabbed on her left arm by Ein. He pulls her close to him and places a knife on her neck.

"Give me it back or she dies." Ein says.

Aaron notices her scared expression and closes his eyes, before opening them to be charcoal black.

"What the—" Aaron mutters as he looks up to see Aphmau mouth a name to him.

"Blade." she mouths.

Ein didn't notice the two talking as he glares at Aaron. "Do it." he demands.

Aaron doesn't say thing as he tries to think of a plan, preferably before he witnesses her die. 'Just let me do it.' he thinks mentally.

"Do what?" a voice says. "You do realize, I'm keeping your son safe." the voice adds.

'Give Ein back his ears and tail that I took away a year ago otherwise—' Aaron is cut off but the voice.

"—he'll kill her and let me guess, you love her?" the voice smirks.

'Yes. She means more to me than anything plus, she's my son's mother.' Aaron replies.

He doesn't hear the voice until he hears a loud sigh a minute later. "Fine, but only this one time. Deal?" the voice asks, as Aaron nods.

'Deal.' Aaron says.

Again, he closes his eyes and snaps them open, the crimson eyes doing their magic. Appearing on Ein's head is a pair of dark blue ears and a tail of the same color appeared on his waist.

He smirks. "See, that wasn't too hard, was it?" he says, crackling in laughter.

Aphmau pushes the knife out of her way and leaps off the ledge to Aaron. Ein feels he wants Aaron at his breaking point so, he decides to light up his hand with his magic. How he got his magic remains unknown to everyone as Aaron watches his world shatter.

Ein aims his magic at Aphmau and lets go, hitting her in her heart. She falls to the ground as Aaron rushes to her side. He picks her up and carries her out of the werewolf cave, not caring at the trail of blood that followed the two.

"Garroth?" Zane asks.

Garroth's once blue eyes are now a glowing emerald color as he advances Zane, who is trying to avoid Garroth's sword he wields. Out of nowhere, Kawaii~Chan runs in front of Zane just as Garroth swings his sword, catching her on her chest. She falls back in Zane's arms as he lifts up a hand, noticing blood on his hand.

Aaron carries Aphmau's body bridal style as the two make their way to the beach house. That is where they were hiding out in for the time being because the Guardian Forces have already checked that part of island. He kicks the door open with his foot and walks up the stairs. Aaron sets Aphmau's body on the blanket and immediately holds a small towel to her wound.

"A..Aaron?" she whispers. "I don't want to die..." she says.

Aaron doesn't respond but he gives her a soft smile before shifting his gaze to Zane.

"Where's Blade?" he asks, noticing Zane is here and Blade isn't.

"He's with Melissa." Zane replies, softly.

Aaron nods just as Aphmau's heart stops and she stops breathing. He takes a shaky breath and stands up.

"Zane? Is Aphmau okay?" he hears KC ask Zane.

He walks out of the room and down the stairs to see the Ultima sword rest in its case. Aaron smashes the glass and picks up the sword, tucking it in a duffle bag and casting the house one last glance before leaving the house.

"Sir, we have the Ultima spotted." a GF officer says to his walkie-talkie.

'10-4, where?' someone responds.

"Main bridge." the GF officer replies.

Aaron takes one steps forwards as Blaze and other werewolves stand in his way.

"Blaze, get out of my way." he growls.

Blaze shakes his head. "All the people that died, died because of you! It's because of you, we have to hide ourselves otherwise, we'd be hunted!" he shouts.

Aaron responds by whipping out the sword and slashing Blaze on his chest, killing the werewolf immediately. He repeats the process, killing every werewolf in his way.

"Dada?" a voice speaks.

He whips his head around, unaware of Michael watching him from his helicopter. Aaron drops the sword on the ground beside him and hugs his son.

'We want the Ultima to maintain his anger. Kill the child." Michael orders.

'10-4.' a GF officer replies.

Several Guardian Force Officers suddenly surround the father and son as Aaron stands protectively in front of Blade. He arms himself with the sword, again, and slashes any officer that dares to come close.

"Blade? I have an idea, but I need you to close your eyes and go to sleep."a voice tells Blade.

"O..okay?" Blade replies as he closes his eyes, fully trusting whatever was speaking to him.

He opens his eyes, revealing the untamed red as he punches a guard. Aaron slashes yet another Guardian Force Officer.

"Aaron, don't attack Blade, I'm controlling him." the voice whispers to Aaron.

"I'll try not to." Aaron replies and slashes another officer.

'Someone stop that Ultima!' Michael shouts.

"Which one?" an officer asks, dumbly.

'BOTH OF THEM! KILL THAT CHILD!' Michael roars into his walkie-talkie.

Katelyn and Garroth jump down from the helicopter and land on Blade. He squirms underneath them, trying to free himself.

Aaron turns around and rushes to his son's aid. The purple sword Aaron is wielding clangs with Garroth's blue sword, quite loudly. Katelyn tries to get a punch and a kick at Blade but the one year old does the unthinkable. He shifts into a jet black wolf pup with untamed eyes and blood-tipped ears and tail.
