~Maddie~
James, Samuel and I were walking down the hall. We were passing by two more boys, both staring at me.
I had a almost forgotten that I was only wearing james oversized shirt.
"Maddie" James broke the silence when we stopped in front of a fancy looking door.
"Please don't think of us differently" James looked at me with a serious expression.Being confused by his sudden statement I just nodded.
James knocked first and then opened the door, Samuel being the first on to walk in. I followed directly after.
The room was a big office, the shelves on the wall were stocked with books and files. I heard James closing the door softly behind me.
"Maddie sit, please" I was sure that I wouldn't hear his voice so soon again. The person i thought i have lost connection with is actually hear in front of me.
"L-Luca?" my heart was about to beat right out of my chest. It was racing so fast and i wish it couldn't heard from outside.

Seeing Luca sitting in the big office chair right in front of me after what had happened not only took my breath away but also made me even more confused.
"L-Luca I-" i was about to say something but i being cut by Luca words.
"Maddie, just sit down" the cold and harsh tone of his voice made me sit down immediately.
"So Maddie here's the thing" Luca told me about the events that had happened last night.
It was hard for me to believe something like this actually happened, but pulling down the bandage on my neck it revealed the graze shot they were talking about.
"So you're telling me that you guys are a mafia and Xavier is also the leader of a different mafia and you're rivals" hearing something crazy and absurd like this, I wasn't sure if I should laugh or not.
From the corner of my eyes I saw James and Samuel nodding. While Luca just stared at me.
"So here's the deal, princess. You'll stay here until your graze shot is healed, since we have the medicine and skills to treat it just perfectly and we can't risk you going to the hospital and giving information on us. After that you'll return to your fiancé and you'll never talk about this to anyone, we'll find out if you do, trust me. You got it?" Luca stood up from his chair and put both of his hands on the table to lean on.
For whatever reason the sweet and caring Luca that i know was gone. He was trying to intimidate me and it was working.
I nodded my head and got ready to stand up. As i was about to leave the room together with James, Luca's harsh voice stopped us.
"Maddie one more thing, and don't even fucking thinking to try to talk to me again" Luca said coldly to me before i left the room.

James and I were in his room, the room I woke up in in the first place.
I still wasn't sure if I should believe all that mafia stuff they told me. It's hard to believe and seems crazy and scary. But it would explain everything. If it was true, what else were my dad and Xavier keeping from me?
"Don't worry Maddie he still likes you. It's just hard for him to accept the fact that you're going to marry his biggest rival. Luca thought that he actually has a chance at love with you but instead you broke his heart" my heart started to beating again when James says about Luca.
"It's not like I have a choice James" I was mumbling. Something I did when I wasn't sure if I should tell or not. It's not like telling him could change anything.
"What do you mean?" James looked at me intensely. He knew I was going to say more than that.
"I should probably rest a bit I'm still tired"
"Oh yeah right. Sleep tight and don't hesitate to ask if you need anything" it didn't take much to get James to quit asking questions.
He was already out the door giving me a weak smile. But I knew that he heard the last words I said before he closed the doors.
"Sometimes it's not love, sometimes it's just pure compatibility and commitment"
