Chapter Ten

~Maddie~

It felt like my head was spinning. My eyes are still closed. Rolling over to the side to get some more sleep, I noticed a sharp pain flinching through my neck. 

"Ugh" my voice was hoarse and my throat was dry. I cracked my neck and was greeted by even more pain.

I was shot awake and sat up straight.  

"Where am I?" checking out the surroundings I saw a bedroom I wasn't familiar with, not remembering a single thing from the entire day yesterday.

"Oh my god Maddie, no you didn't" dirty thoughts were racing through my mind. 

I was scared to check if I was actually wearing clothes. I lifted the covers of the bed, to see myself wearing a loose shirt, that obviously belonged to a boy and panties.

"Oh my god!! Did I cheat on Xavier?" I shout in my thoughts knowing that Xavier will get mad if he found out that I'm cheating on him.

I stood up and checked myself in the mirror. My face looked lifeless, there were dark circles under my eyes and my hair was a mess and a little greasy. 

I pushed my hair aside to check out the pain and was greeted by a bandage that looked fresh.

"What the hell? What kind of kinks does this guy have?" 

I flinched when I heard a door opening and closing in the hallway.

"Hello?" I made my way to the door carefully and peaked my head out of the door. 

No one was there.

I stepped out into the hallway. There were several doors and the hallway was quite huge.

I heard some inaudible shouting downstairs and made my way to the staircase. 

When I reached the end of the staircase I stopped. How many people even live here?  What if this guy has roommates? Or even worse, still lives with his parents?

"You shot her Zach!" I heard people exchanging hissed words behind one of the big double doors. 

"And Liam even told you to stop. If you're not sure you'll hit the right target, you just don't shoot. What's so hard about that?!" someone else added to the guy that spoke before.

How many boys are there? As i was too curious to know when i heard lots of noise coming.

Carefully I knocked on the door. Immediately the people stopped talking, so I opened the door and made my way inside. 

"Jesus Christ" The boy cursed.

"Who the hell are you?" I looked at boys, eating breakfast at a huge table.

One of the guys opened his mouth wide and dropped his croissant while staring at my exposed legs. 

"Oh my god!" I pulled down the shirt to cover my legs. How couldn't i realize what i was wearing.

"Are you okay?" one of the guys spoke softly and got up.

"Who did I-I y-you know" the boys looked at me in confusion. I couldn't focus on what i was about to say.

"Who did I have s-e-x with?" a few seconds after they got what I was spelling out they bursted out laughing. I started to feel confused with their reactions after what i just said just now.

"Sorry my dear but you didn't" One of the guy that was standing made his way over to me. 

"T-then who's shirt is this? What did you do to my neck?" I was trying to backing up until I felt my back hitting someones chest. 

"That's my shirt" turning around I was met with some familiar eyes.

"Oh my! James is that you?" the guy behind me nodded and smiled, before pulling me into a tight hug. 

"Where did your chubby cheeks go?" I pinched his cheeks teasingly. I can't believe that I finally meet him after all this year.

James and I grew up together, but after my mother passed away we grew apart. Then James started laughing, but was serious again just a second later.

"Maddie are you feeling okay? Do you  remember anything that happened last night?" he ask me with a worried expression.

"I'm good, but I don't remember a single thing that happened. Also why am I here and what's with my neck?" i pointed out the bandage on my neck.

"Well someone will tell you what happened later. For now it'd be great if the guys would introduce themselves" James gave a nod to the other guys in the room. 

"Well I'm Leo, that is Marrow, Zach, Walter, Samuel , Dean and Timmy " the guy that dropped his croissant explained. 

James left the room a little while after, just like Zach, Marrow , Josh and Timmy.

leaving me alone with Walter, Leo, Samuel and Dean. It was fun to hang out with them, I almost forgot that I didn't know why I was here in the first place and what happened to my neck. But I trusted James.

"Maddie" James opened the door and stepped into the dinning room.

"He's back now, so he can explain everything" James told me and he bring me somewhere only God knows. But i put all my trust to James because i know he will never hurt me.
