The first three weeks after Harry had left for tour had flown by unbelievably quick. To my surprise he had kept his promise to video call as often as was possible, even if that did mean that half the video chats consisted of him trying his very best to keep his eyes open throughout the conversations. Tour life had already started to take its toll on his body, visiting and performing in a different city every week wasn't exactly the most ideal lifestyle; but it was the lifestyle he loved to live.

Life for myself and Isabella had continued as if Harry wasn't in our lives again, for the most part. She was growing what seemed like every minute recently, and my heart sunk knowing that she would be completely different baby by the time Harry saw her again in person. Just yesterday she had started to babble syllables that resembled words and I had spent the last 24 hours attempting to get her to say "mama", only getting her giggling ecstatically back at me.

Harry was currently in Osaka, Japan, where he had been for the past four days with tonight being the bands first show there. The prospect of being in an ew city every week seemed so exciting to me, the idea of seeing so much of the world while doing what you loved sounded like the dream. When me and Harry were together and I had joined the band for the European leg of their tour, I truly had the time of my life. I'd go explore the city during the day and then watch my boyfriend and his four best friends doing what they love at night, we really were living the dream.

I was currently sat waiting patiently for him to video call after their show with Isabella sat babbling away to herself on my knee. It was strange how much my days had started to revolve around Harry's calls, always making sure that there was at least an hour spare where he could video chat Isabella, even if she didn't quite understand what was going on, I knew how much it meant to him.

Usually his call would come about mid morning, he'd call when he got a spare hour or so before their concert and we'd chat until somebody came to tell him that he really needed to get sorted and he'd say his goodbyes and leave us to get on with our day. Today he'd gotten tied up and hadn't managed to call before the show but had sent me a text saying that he'd call the minute the show was over.

It warmed my heart how committed he was to calling everyday, with his busy schedule I had expected the calls to become less and less frequent before they stopped happening altogether, but he had well and truly proved me wrong.

My phone screen flashed up signalling an incoming call and I grinned before answering, waiting patiently as Harry's pixelated face lit up my phone. It was clear he had phoned the moment he had gotten off of stage, through the pixelated picture I could make out the wisps of his hair stuck to his forehead and a towel draped around his neck along with his earpiece swinging and he walked.

"Hey! Sorry I couldn't call earlier, there was a tech issue, how is she?" His face lit up upon seeing Isabella sat on my knee contently playing with the TV remote she had grabbed from beside me.

"Don't worry about it, these things happen, I didn't have any plans today anyway." I reassured him, "Yeah she's good, I actually think she'll be saying her first word soon, she's starting to say things that sound like actual words!"

His face fell as soon as the words escaped my mouth and I was overcome by guilt, remembering this was yet another milestone he would be missing. He quickly attempted to hide his disappointment and returned a small smile to his face.

"That's great, that's my big girl! And I bet it'll be Dada, wont it Isabella?" I tilted my phone so Isabella was in full frame. "Say Dada!"

Isabella diverted her attention away from the remote to momentarily look at Harry and reached out for the phone, I quickly moved it out of her reach knowing that if she was to get ahold of it the video chat would be over quicker than anticipated. The number of times I've had to stop her from phoning 999 was unbelievable.
