"Are you gonna see Dada today?"

I smiled widely, pulling Isabella's arms through the t-shirt I had picked out for her to wear. After far too long Harry was finally coming home and would finally be able to spend some time with his daughter without the use of a computer.

I'd barely slept the night before. Whether it was from nerves, excitement or just my body refusing sleep, I didn't know, but I did know that the thought of him finally being back here made my heart skip a beat. I'd recieved a text during the night saying he was boarding the plane and checking he was okay to come straight to the house from the airport, to which I'd replied of course.

I had never known a day go as slowly as the day had. Minutes felt like hours as I spent what felt like the entire day watching the clock; I didn't know who was more excited for his return, me or him. Isabella was, of course, totally oblivious to the whole situation and was more than content playing with whatever she got her hands on which just so happened to be the TV remote.

By mid afternoon I was sat by the bedroom window overlooking the street with Isabella sat on my knee, much to her dismay, Harry had text to say he had landed an hour and a half ago and that he shouldn't be too long. I watched a black car turn onto the street and my smile grew wider as it drew closer.

Harry's eyes lit up as soon as I opened the door with Isabella on my hip, abandoning the driver who was getting his suitcases from the boot and running to take her from me. She giggled hysterically as he spun her round and planted as many kisses as he could manage on her forehead.

"Oh my God she got so big!"

"And heavy!" I laughed as he greeted me with a hug.

"Hi baby," He smiled, "You have no idea how much I've missed you...I never want to let you go again, Daddy's here now."

"Dada."

His smile grew impossibly wider as she repeated the word, smacking her hands against his chest.

"That's right baby, Dada."

He held her close and shut his eyes, taking in the moment as I watched on in admiration. I reached for my phone from my back pocker and snapped a photo, knowing that the moment was one he'd treasure.

The driver of the car coughed behind him and Harry swung round quickly, thanking him and grabbing one of the suitcases from the pavement and moving it into the hallway, promptly followed by the other three cases he'd brought.

"Sorry, I'll call a cab when I go home...I just wanted to see her first."

"I can take you," I offered.

He nodded gratefully as he followed me into the house and shutting the door behind him, accepting my offer of a cup of tea as I excused myself to the kitchen. I stood by the kettle waiting for it to boil as I listened to Harry speaking to Isabella in the lounge. The utter joy in his voice was unmistakable as he played with her, his laugh ringing through the air every once in a while.

Once the tea was done I carried both cups into the lounge and passed him his, sitting down on the sofa allowing the drink to warm my hands. He was sat leaning against the sofa, legs outstretched as Isabella sat close to him closely examining a wooden block that had piqued her interest.

"Oh wow, a proper cup of tea, you have no clue how long I've waited for this...and I bet you've got that stupid fruity tea you like, haven't you?" He jested, grinning from his place on the floor.

"Hey, I like it! It tastes good."

He rolled his eyes as he returned his attention to Isabella, pulling her in between his legs as she cried in frustration before sitting contently as Harry passed her a different toy.
