I didn't even know where to go. Harry was right, I couldn't leave the hotel without security with so many people surrounding the doors and god knows where I could get security so quickly. I was trapped within the confines of the hotel with only a wish to be anywhere but here in that moment.

I'd left Isabella asleep in the room with Harry; she was still sound asleep when I left, that kid could sleep through anything. I already felt sick with the thought of leaving her behind, the anger flowing through my veins somehow letting me walk out alone. She was fine, she'd be fine, Harry loved her with every ounce of his being. She probably would remain asleep until some ungodly hour the next morning anyway, although the thought brought me no comfort.

I stared at the many buttons on the wall of the lift, my mind completely spinning with the events that had just happened and my eyes blurred from the tears I'd cried. I'd lost my head, but that didn't make Harry's words sting any less.

The lift jarred into motion before I had chance to press a button and I groaned through my quiet sobs and wiped the mascara that was undoubtedly smeared across half of my face by now. The doors opened moments later to a corridor identical to the one I'd just left, a man in a uniform I recognised stood in front of the doors.

"Whoa, Marnie?" I lifted my eyes from the brightly coloured, offensive carpet of the lift to the man I recognised from the security team that had been around the past few days, I'd spoken to him briefly but I didn't even know his name. "Do you want me to get Harry?"

I shook my head quickly, wiping my eyes again in an attempt to pull myself together.

"No, no...it's fine, thank you." My voice didn't sound as confident as I hoped it would. We stood in silence for a second before I realised that, despite hardly knowing the man, he probably knew more than me about where I could go. "I d-don't know where to go..."

"Is there anyone I can call, or get?"

"D-do you know where Lou is? The hair stylist."

He nodded as the lift doors opened on a floor that looked identical to every other and a group of other hotel guests stepped into the lift. The security man stepped out, gesturing me to follow him as he tapped something into his phone and calling another lift which arrived promptly after. The gesture was small, but I appreciated the care for my dignity he had. He pressed a button and the lift jarred into motion, silence growing around us as we waited for the doors to open again.

Lou might not even be around, but she's the only one I knew well enough to go to right now.

We approached the door and the man stopped in front, turning to me with a sympathetic expression.

"She's in this one." He motioned to the door.

"Thank you, sorry to bother you..." I began, realising I still had no clue of his name.

"Dom, it's no problem...I hope everything's okay."

I nodded a thank you and watched as he left to continue doing whatever it was he was doing before I interrupted him. I stared at the door, still unsure as to if this was the right thing to do. Too late now.

I knocked lightly on the door, taking a step back with bated breath as I hoped for the door to open. It swung open a minute later, revealing a dark room and Lou in her pyjamas, I'd definitely disturbed her up despite it only being just past nine.

"Marnie?" She asked, a frown across her face as she took in my appearance.

"Lou...I'm so sorry." I began, mortified that I'd come to her door in such a state, "I'll leave you to it."
