When Ian said he really want a room redecoration and want me to help him. It means he wanted me to add the things I love into the room.

"This is not even my room." I pointed out.

"Well, you can still help me." He said. "C'mon." He pouted. "I like your decorations at your place."

"Okay." I said. And that's how we ended up ordering quite a lot of things just for his room. Keeping in mind his passion about photography and gaming. We ordered some picture frames, a wooden quotation wall hanger, his first name's custom initial deco. He insisted and brought my initial too. I shake my head at his idea. We ordered a Polaroid camera, so he can take pictures and stick it on the bare walls. We planned not to move anything that was already there.

"Did you like the room that you were staying in last time?" He asked. "I can show you other rooms and if you would like you can decorate that room."

"I like that room from last time." I said. "I don't think I want to add anything." It's not like I'm planning to move or something.

"How about some pictures? Paintings?"

"Right now, no." I said and he pouts but didn't force me.

We walked hand in hand downstairs for lunch. I laughed at his stories when he visited Australia for business.

"We should go there, sometime." He said.

"Maybe we should." I said.

"Where would you like to eat your lunch?" She asked us.

"Just on the dining table."

"Very well. No patio?" She asked.

"Dining table is fine." I said.

"Did you get my department's work?"

"Yes I did." He said very amused. "Much progressive."

"I guess they took it well."

"They should be." He said as he took a bite of his food.

I got a call from Brent after lunch when Ian and I decided to play a board game.

"Yes, Brent." I said as I stood near the large window.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"I'm at Ian's place." I said. "Why?"

"Sh*t is going down." He said. "Grandma is coming here."

It's never a good idea when grandma has to travel all the way just to have a talk with you, she won't leave you like a bug until she gets what she wants.

"Why? Marilyn is leaving tonight. What's the point?"

"You didn't hear that? She want to have an extended stay."

"What?" I said. "So you mean to say she will be staying a little longer? I can't do that."

"Grandma is coming to assess the situation with Ian."

"No. That's awful." I said.

"Marilyn is overly excited about grandma's involvement."

"Of course, she knows whose side she will be on." I grumble in annoyance.

"Marilyn's parents are coming too and we are having a sudden family gathering to see the situation because there will be dispute." He said.

"I don't know how Marilyn can be like that?" I said. Her mom likes making a big scene. She loves her daughters way too much to fight with anyone.

"I need to have a talk with Marilyn."

"You think she will sit and agree with you? You know her well, she wants what you have. She wants to take everything that's yours. She is a B." He huffed in annoyance.

"When will they arrive?"

"Tuesday." He said.

"So, am I suppose to ignore her until then?"

"Yes." He said.

"You do know, I have to go back to the apartment to get my stuffs. I didn't even pack much and I have work on Monday." I was panicking now.

"Don't worry, I will ask Claire to pack for you."

"Why can't I go back to my own place? Now, it's her place?"

"She will instigate and bring trouble, Ell." Brent said in a softer tone. "Give the phone to Ian."

"No." I said. "Why?"

"I want to talk to him."

"He doesn't need to be part of this."

"He is the reason, Ell." Brent said. "He is the big part."

I walked to Ian who was pretending to do something else.

"Brent?" He asked and I nodded my head. He took the phone and greeted Brent. His brow furrowed at whatever Brent was saying.

"I see." He said and looked at me and stood up. "I'll be right back." He give me a reassuring smile before leaving the room.

He came back a little while later and handed me my phone back.

"What did Brent said to you?" I asked.

"You'll be staying here for a while." He said.

"What?" I said. I thought of staying with Claire.

"Yes." He said. "So where were we?" He asked.

"What else did he talk about?"

"Just to take care of you." He said as he rolled the dice. He is avoiding the subject.

"Tell me." I demanded.

He looked at me and sighed when he figured I'm not going to give up on that topic.

"Your grandma and Marilyn."

"Too much drama, right?"

"Marilyn needs to back off." He said. "It's rude to want someone else's boyfriend and especially your own cousin's. She knows no damn limit." He was disappointed. "I agree with Brent, you should not meet her alone and since she wants to make it a big issue and is involving everyone, then I suggest you should talk to her in front of everyone."

"I can't believe we are fighting for a guy."

He gasped, "I'm not just a guy. I'm Ian Collins."

I laughed at his joke. I pulled his cheeks gently. "That's right, you're special and everyone wants you." I sighed.

"But I want you and that's what really matters." He said and give me a quick kiss. "Okay, where we were?"

I wish things was much simpler when we ignore the situation. When we ignore the situation, we are dragging the situation and I don't like that. I know Ian doesn't want to talk more about the topic and his constant reassurance of him liking me is very heart-warning but a little part of me feel otherwise. Would he change his heart later for whatever reasons? That thought bothered me, but all I can do is to trust him and love him, still.
