Obey Me- Lucifer X Reader [FINISHED]

Main Story- Chapter 23

     "What about the others? Are they okay? Did someone break in?" Levi started panicking and I set a hand on his shoulder.
    
     "It's okay, Levi. If someone broke in, the others would've stopped him, right?" I asked. We walked toward the door, and I took a deep breath. If this guy was really close to me, is it easier to control me? Lucifer pushed the door open and walked in first. Levi and I followed. We started heading towards the library.

     "What are you sneaking around for?" Asmo asked behind me. I spun around and pulled him towards me.

     "Shh! Someone is in the house!" I whisper-yelled. Asmos' eyes widened and he started following us. Lucifer stopped all of us.

     "Asmo, Levi, you guys go check upstairs. MC and I will check the ground floor." Lucifer ordered.

     "O-okay!" Levi said. They sneaked towards the stairs while Lucifer and I started walking towards the library. The tense and odd moment made me remember when Lucifer and I were stuck in a "game". The other brothers slowly disappeared until it was just me and Lucifer. I smiled a little and Lucifer looked back at me.

     "Aren't you scared?" Lucifer asked.

     "Oh, I-I'm scared, I'm just thinking about that one time that we were stuck in that game." I said. Lucifer tilted his head.

     "Which time?" He asked, smiling a little bit.

     "The one where it wasn't really a game. Where I had to either kill you or fall in love with you." I said, watching his face turn slightly pink.

     "Do you want me to hold you hand to make you less scared like last time?" Lucifer asked. I felt my face heat up.

     "S-sure." I said. Lucifers' gloved hand slipped into mine and we continued walking.

     Once we reached the doorway to the library, Lucifer peeked into the room, and then looked at me.

     "I don't see anything, but stay close." Lucfier said, pulling me into the room. I observed the room, not seeing anything. Lucifer let go of my hand, making me sad and my hand cold. He walked over to a shelf and started looking through all the the books.

     "I thought we were going to have Satan look through all of the grimoires." I said, watching Lucifer's fingers brush across each spine of each book.

     "I messaged him, I'm just checking to see if any of these are out of place. Can you message Levi and Asmo?" Lucifer asked. I pulled out my D.D.D and opened the Chat.

           MC- Levi, Asmo, are you guys okay? Did you find anything?

     I waited about 15 seconds before my phone buzzed with a call from Levi. I picked it up and held the D.D.D. to my ear.

     "Levi? Are you okay?" I asked.

     "No." Levi stated. It was so abrupt, I widened my eyes in shock.

     "What happened?" I asked. Levi's voice was shaking when he answered.

     "I-I honestly don't know. I turned around, and A-Asmo was gone. T-Then a guy that you guys described started chasing me, and I-I was able to hide." Levi explained.

     "Have you seen any of the other brothers?" I asked.

     "Belphie is asleep, and he refuses to wake up. Mammon is gone, and Beel went out to eat. Satan is book shopping." Levi said. As if on cue, Lucifer's D.D.D lit up in his back pocket and he pulled it out and looked at the message.

     "Satan's not here. He's out shopping for books." Lucifer said, turning to me. He saw I was on the phone and walked towards me. I mouthed that it was Levi.

     "Levi? Where are you hiding?" I asked. Levi suddenly stopped the call. I started typing a message until my D.D.D buzzed with a message from him.

          Levi- I'm in Satan's room, hiiding behind a ppile of books in his closet. I caant talk. HE IS IN THHE ROOM.
