London Trip- Chapter 9

     "We ran out of daylight fast, huh?" I asked. Lucifer nodded.

     "Okay, you have to be hungry now." Lucifer said, turning to me.

     "Even though I'm eating ice cream, I'm still hungry." I admitted.

     "Well, it's your pick, what would you like?" Lucifer asked.

     "Hmm..."

     "All the restaurants in London." Lucifer said, trying to help me think.

     "..... okay when you put it like that then what I want to eat looks kind if stupid." I stated.

     "What do you mean?" Lucifer asked.

Later... (I dare you to comment cherrios lmao)

     "Okay, so even though you had the entirety of London to choose from, you chose... pizza?" Lucifer asked as I took a bite.

     "Listen, it might sound stupid, but I know exactly what's gonna happen." I said. Lucifer chuckled.

     "Oh, really? And what's that?" He asked.

     "You're going to buy me this fancy dinner, and I'm not gonna expect it, and it's gonna be nice." I explained. Lucifer laughed.

     "Actually, that's what we're doing tomorrow for dinner." Lucifer said.

     "Called it!" I exclaimed. Lucifer and I jerked our attention to the tv.

     "Detective Williams is on the case of the Demon of London, a local serial killer that has yet to be caught. Investigators are working very hard to keep the citizens safe." The reporter said. She was standing in a empty building, with yellow tape behind her and policemen leaning at a body that we couldn't see.

     "Pfft-" I tried to hold in a laugh.

     "And what's funny about that?" Lucifer asked.

     "Sorry, sorry. I just think that it's wierd that they are using well-dressed gators to solve a crime." I said.

     Did you really just do that-

     "Well-dressed... oh." Lucifer said, finally getting the joke.

     "Investigators!" I exclaimed, bursting out laughing.

     "And the 'Demon of London'? We are two demons, in London." I said. Lucifer chuckled at that one.

     "Guess we need to keep our eye out." Lucifer said.

     My D.D.D started buzzing. I pulled it out of my pocket.

     "Oh, it's Asmo! I'll be right back." I said, setting down my pizza and walking out to the terrace/balcony. It was nighttime, so all the lights in the city were on and it looked beautiful.

     "Hi MC! How's London?" Asmo asked. I smiled at his familiar enthusiastic voice.

     "It's really nice, actually. We went and saw the Big Ben, the Tower of Lon-"

     "No no no I don't really care about that. Tell me about the juicy stuff!" Asmo interrupted.

     "Don't say it like that." I said. Asmo giggled over the phone.

     "We didn't really do anything. It was just like... ya know... cuddling or whatever." I mumbled. Asmo shrieked, causing me to pull the phone away form my ear.

     "Okay okay, calm down." I said, putting the phone back to my ear.

     "YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!" Asmo yelled.

     "Simmer down!" I exclaimed.

     "I can't believe THE Lucifer cuddled with you. Willingly!" Asmo exclaimed.

     "Well... I mean... he was asleep. Then he just kinda, grabbed me." I explained.

     "Oi! Is that MC! Gimme the phone! Gimme the phone!"

     "No! I'm talking! H-hey! Money grubbing scumbag!" Asmo yelled, his voice fading slightly.

     "MC! You better come home soon! It's boring here!" Mammon yelled.

     "Mammon, just put me on speaker so I can talk to both of you." I said. Mammon grumbled.

     "Stupid scum! Ask next time!" I heard Asmo grumble.

     "Anything else new?" Asmo asked.

     "Yeah, actually. Apparently there's a serial killer on the loose up here." I said casually.

     "There's a WHAT?!?!" Asmo and Mammon yelled in unison.
