London Trip- Chapter 18

     I cracked my eyes open. It's still dark out. Lucifer must've set me in the bed and went to sleep next to me.

     I dont wanna talk to him for a while...

     I slowly started to roll out of bed. I dont really want to lay next to him either.

     Then, like last time, Lucifer pulled me back.

     "I'm sorry. We dont have to go back." He whispered, his lips brushing my ear. I fell silent.

     I'm sorry too, Lucifer. I should've told you sooner.

     I wanted to say it out loud, but I couldn't speak. I just tried to relax, but my face remained straight.

     A few beats of silence passed both in my head and in the room.

     ...MC?

     Yeah?

     Did you really mean that?

     What?

     You said that I changed. That I was fine now. Did you mean it?

     Yeah, of course I did.

     .....Thank you.

     Our conversation ended.

     It was just me and my thoughts, I think Asmoday went to sleep.

     ... I'm so stupid.

          It's obvious now that Diavolo sent Karasu.

               Why didn't you see it? Are you that dumb?

                    I ruined a perfectly good trip with Lucifer.

                         I can't sleep.

                              Why am I always the heart of the worst situations?

                                   I don't want to do the investigation anymore.

                                        I'm the worst.

                                             I should apologize to Lucifer a million times.

     Eventually, I fell asleep.
