Chapter 30

Roddy POV

I was sitting, waiting on Jackie. I went to visit my baby today. This whole situation is stressful, especially for her. I felt bad.

The guard came up to me and said "Taylor doesn't want to be visited."

"What? Tell her it's Rodrick, her boyfriend." I said.

"She doesn't want any visitors today sir." The guard said.

Something must've happened. Because she doesn't want to talk to anybody. I sighed a little and nodded my head.

"Alright, thank you." I said.

Jackie POV

"Taylor, it's time to eat." The guard said coming up to my cell.

"I don't want to eat." I said.

"Come on. You don't have a choice." She said, I sighed getting up with an attitude.

I walked to the hall, seeing everybody stare at me. I walked and grabbed the tray with this nasty food, and walked to the table sitting by myself.

Of course, my only friend here, Peaches came and sat next to me.

"Jackie... You okay?" She asked me.

"I'm fine." I said dryly.

"I'm sorry about what happened." Peaches said, I just ate these nasty carrots and didn't say anything.

"How's that ring around your eye Jackie?" This one girl named Tori said and she laughed along with a couple of people.

"You want one around yours?" I asked her.

She didn't say anything, she just kept walking and sat down at another table.

"That's what I thought." I said.

"What are you gonna do?" Peaches asked me.

"There's nothing I can do. If I hurt Dion, I can stay in here longer and she not worth it." I said continuing to eat.

"Well, if you need me I'm here for you." Peaches said.

I sighed a little.

"Thank you." I said.

Roddy POV

"She told the guard no visitors today." I said to Bird, Bird handed me a bottle of water and said "What happened?"

"I don't know. But something went down, if she doesn't wanna see nobody." I said sighing.

"Maybe we can try visiting her tomorrow? Together?" Bird suggested.

"Yeah we can do that." I said.

"I talked to the lawyer today, they set up a court date for Jackie next week. If she pleads non guilty she's out." Bird said.

"She will. And I can't wait" I said.

"Me neither, I gotta get outta here though, have a meeting with Keisha." Bird said.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"Kash Doll." He said and I chuckled.

"My boy calling her the government." I said.

"Yeah yeah shut up" Bird said laughing and we did our handshake.

"Tap in later" I said and he nodded his head leaving my house.

"So that's pretty much it. You ready though?" I asked Keisha after I went over all the plans I had for her. We sat down on her couch.
