Roddy POV

"Bird, did you hear that Jay needed us tonight?" I asked him through the phone as I was driving.

"Yeah I know." Bird said.

"I'm gone scoop you. I also gotta talk to you" I said.

"Alright" Bird said then hung up the phone.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Bird ain't feeling me right now because of the last conversation we had. But dang cut me some slack, I was pissed that day.

I pulled up to Bird's house and left him a text.

Me: Outside

Then I sat for about two minutes waiting, seeing him walk outside putting his snapback on.

He walked to the car and got in.

"Wassup bro bro" I said and he just gave me the head nod and said "Sup"

I sighed a little.

"Aight man I'm sorry." I said.

"For what?" He asked shrugging.

"For how I came at you the other day. I was just mad, but I shouldn't have took it out on you. I can admit that. Aight? I'm sorry." I said.

"You good man I ain't trippin. You just needa watch who you talking to" Bird said chuckling.

"My fault man.. I'm just going through it right now." I said.

"What's going on?" Bird asked.

"Jackie is done with me man... She's for real. But I did mess up.. Big time. Doja is pregnant too and-"

"Wait wait what??" Bird said in disbelief.

"Yeah... I feel terrible man." I said sighing.

Bird sighed.

"I don't even know if I have advice for you on this one..." Bird said shaking his head.

"Man there's no advice for it. Now I'm gone have two baby mamas and I'm gone watch Jackie get wit some other man and him do everything I'm supposed to do. I was gone make her my wife man." I said pulling out the box from my pocket.

Bird's eyes widened when I opened the box showing him the ring.

"I was gone propose to her, but that's when I found out Doja was pregnant too. And I knew, I couldn't possibly think Jackie would wanna be my wife after something like this." I said.

"Man... I don't know what to say. Do you think her mind is really made up?" Bird asked.

"Yeah, she don't even look at me the same. It's like I disgust her now." I said sighing.

"I'm sorry bro bro.." Bird said.

"It's my fault. I should've had it together but I didn't. I didn't get all of that childish mess out my system like I was supposed to, so now I gotta take that L." I said.

"I know my boy ain't gone give up like that." Bird said.

"What you mean?" I asked.

"You love this woman. Right?" Bird asked.

"With all my heart man." I said.

"Then you fight for her. Now, I ain't gone lie it may be harder with another baby by another woman on the way.. But, you can always try." Bird said.

I sighed a little.

"Yeah you right.. I can just tell she's not the same though. She don't want me to even touch her man" I said.
