Jackie POV

I was at my store, setting up. I didn't open yet, I was just making sure everything was set up right first.

It's only been two days, and me and Rodrick haven't spoke. Does it bother me? Of course, because why we went 48 hours with out speaking?

But, I gotta do what I gotta do. And it's obvious he ain't too worried about me so.

I heard light knocks at the door and I looked seeing Bird standing outside.

I got off the ladder I was on, dusting myself off and unlocked the front door and said "Hey! Come in"

"You really shouldn't be on a ladder while you're pregnant" Bird said chuckling.

"Shh.. I'm fine" I said laughing too.

"Sorry for barging in while you working-"

"You're fine, it's okay.. You okay?" I asked, he looked upset.

"I gotta talk to you." He said. I nodded my head and said "Follow me"

We walked to the back of the store and into my office. I sat down and he sat across from me at my desk.

"Talk to me" I said.

"Well, last night.. You know how I went to drop the stuff off for you?" He asked.

"Yeah, how'd that go?" I asked.

"Keisha was there." Bird said, my mouth dropped.

"What you mean there?" I asked.

"She was in the hotel room with him. Bra and panties on, they were see through. He had no shirt on." Bird said.

"What?" I said in disbelief.

"Yep." He said.

I sighed, I don't understand why Bird always gets the short end of the stick..

"Bird.. I'm sorry.." I said.

"What did you do?" I asked him.

"What could I do? I just walked away." He said.

"But-"

"Well, I did grab the lil nigga by his neck, but I knew. I knew, if I would've hit him, he would press charges because of the height of his career." Bird said. I sighed.

"I'm so sorry..." I said.

"Don't apologize, I'm fine" He said shrugging.

"No you're not.." I said.

"It's all good." Bird said.

"Bird, it's me. You ain't gotta front, I know it hurts you.." I said.

"I don't get it. Niggas be reckless to they girl but keep them, but a real nigga like me.. Gets played. I don't understand" Bird said sighing.

"It's not you Bird, you keep being the genuine guy that you are. You will have somebody that appreciates all that you are. You got everything, for real" I said.

"I'm starting to not believe that. If I got everything I feel like I would have somebody locked in wit me right now, it's something I'm lacking. But I don't know what it is." Bird said.

"What? Bird no, you're not lacking anything.. For real. You got everything a girl always wants in a man! You're loyal, you're smart, you're a business man. You love hard, you're attentive.." I said.

"Keep going" He said and we both laughed.

"Bird it's a whole list. It's just, you haven't found the person that's ready for all that. But you're gonna get that.. I promise" I said, he looked at me.
