"Wassup bro" I said shaking hands with Bird as I hopped out my trailer, I was filming a music video and I invited Bird so we could talk.
"Sup" He said dryly, I sighed a little.
"Look I owe you an apology" I said.
He just looked at me.
"I'm sorry about how I handled things in Jamaica.. For real." I said.
"How many times we gone go through this lil cycle bruh? I ain't patient no more" Bird said.
"What you mean?" I asked.
"The whole apology, then everything be good for a minute then you act up again. Because honestly, I don't know what else to tell you to get you to understand that Jackie and I have always been platonic and that's it." Bird said.
"I know that, it's just the whole memory lane shit y'all be doing that pisses me off" I said.
"We didn't bring that up, you did." Bird said.
"Still. Man I'm sorry I ruined the vacation and I'm sorry for touching on Justine like that during the dolphin ride. I lost my head for a bit. It wasn't right and I'm sorry aight? You my boy, I can admit when I went overboard." I said.
"I respect it." Bird said shrugging.
"And I didn't mean what I said." I said.
"What did you say?" Bird asked.
"When I said you weren't in my wedding." I said.
"I know, don't trip" Bird said chuckling.
"Bird you've always been the glue... You the one that held things together. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be this far in my career, I wouldn't have Jackie by my side, I wouldn't have had you as my partner in crime, nothing like that at all. I respect you and appreciate everything you've done for me. I just be trippin man for real.. And I know you and Jackie prolly like, damn this nigga say this shit everytime but for real... This from the heart." I said sighing.
"I hear you, and I appreciate your apology. You good family" Bird said nodding his head.
"You sure?" I asked. It just felt weird this time, like he was stand off-ish towards me and I wasn't used to that.
"Yeah you straight" He said, I held my hand out and he shook it. I sighed a little, it just ain't the same right now. But maybe it'll change later. I could just feel his energy.
"Well um, come look at the footage we just took before you got here.." I said.
