Bird POV

"Wassup sis" I said to Jackie, I stopped by at the house to kick it wit her and Roddy, and since I am Roddy's manager, we had some things to go over. He definitely has to double up on his bread, especially with a lil one on the way.

"Hey!!"

"Where's Roddy?" I asked walking inside, shutting the door behind me.

"He went to the grocery store, he should be back any minute now." Jackie said.

I nodded my head saying "Oh aight"

"I haven't seen you in a minute where you been??" Jackie asked as we hugged.

"I've been kickin it wit Justine for a bit" I said with a smile.

"Oh snap! That's a smile! I love to see it. How's everything?" Jackie asked.

"Man, Jackie.... She's different you know? She asked me about my life. She's very attentive, she bout her business, she's funny, outspoken, beautiful... Man she's everything. We've been out on a few dates already. Things been going good." I said.

"You gone make her yours soon?" Jackie asked.

I sighed and shrugged saying "I don't know."

"Why you don't know?" She asked me.

"My history wit women. They come and go." I said shrugging, as we sat on the couch.

"I just don't wanna waste no time no more." I added.

"I understand, but you will never know if you don't try. I get it though, Keisha seemed like the perfect person, but she messed it up. Nae was a groupie. I completely understand.." Jackie said.

"And I didn't think about this until Justine brought it to my attention, but I feel like my mom was the start of that." I said, Jackie nodded her head.

"Oh for sure" Jackie said, she already knows about my mother because when she was taken in by Mr.Silk, Jackie convinced him to let me stay with them when my mama kicked me out.

"Yeah I know you understand.." I said sighing.

"Yep. I don't even know where my mom is." Jackie said.

"Neither do I. For years." I said.

"It's alright though, we've both been fine." Jackie said shrugging.

"Does it bother you?" I asked.

"Nope." She replied chuckling.

But I know it does. She just frontin, but I'll leave it alone for now.

"But just give her a chance Bird, you ain't gotta cuff her right now, but be open to it." Jackie said.

"Yeah I feel that." I said.

"Yo belly finna pop any minute" I added chuckling, she had a sports bra on with matching sweat pants so you can see her belly just poking out.

"I know... Lil man taking his time" Jackie said laughing a little.

She rubbed her belly a little bit and said "Hey I'm gonna show you the crib. Me and Rodrick built it for Jr" Jackie said.

I scrunched my eyebrows walking upstairs with her and said "Jr?"

"Oh yeah, we're naming him Rodrick Jr." Jackie said with a smile.

"Ayeeeee I know my boy happy about that" I said.

"You already know he is" Jackie said chuckling.

"Wow...." I said as we walked in their bedroom, seeing this big blue crib with lil man's name at the top. It looked really nice.
