"Oh wassup Jackie?" I asked opening my front door.
"Hey Bird.. Sorry to just drop by but I gotta talk to you" She said.
"Nah you good, come in" I said as she walked in the house.
"Where's my baby?" She asked, referring to Justine. They always call each other that.
"Studio session with The Dream" I said.
"Oooh that's nice" Jackie said.
"Yeah, she leveling up. I love it" I said chuckling.
"You look nice" I added looking at her fit.
"Ah thank you Birdie" She said, I laughed and said "I'm gone let that slide."

"Why you got them slides on though?" I asked laughing.
"My heels were hurting me so I took them thangs off" Jackie said laughing too.
"I feel you, well let's sit. You want anything to eat or drink?" I asked.
"I'm good. Just had to chop it up wit ya" Jackie said.
"Wassup?" I said.
"Well.. Um, you know the other day at lunch right?" She started off.
"Yeah.." I said.
"And how I got a phone call and I had to leave out for a lil bit?" Jackie said.
I chuckled and said "Yes nigga spit it out" and she pushed me.
"Shut up... But no for real listen... It was your mother, Dayna." Jackie said and I scrunched my eyebrows.
"You for real?" I asked. She sighed and said "Yes."
"How she get your number?" I asked.
"I don't even know man.. She was just saying how she misses you and-"
"Man I ain't even tryna hear them lies" I said.
"I completely understand." Jackie said.
"That's all cap. Did she miss a nigga when she put me out at 15 over a whole nigga? She wanted some dick so bad she literally kicked me out and disowned me." I said chuckling. This was jokes to me.
"I feel you Bird. That's why when she was tryna set up a day to see you, I told her I would try and see where you at wit it but I basically said in nice terms not to get her hopes up. You know if anybody, I know how you feel." Jackie said.
I sighed.
"I know you do.. I appreciate you coming to me Jackie." I said.
"You know I got you" She said, pushing me. I pushed her back and said "You better chill" and we both laughed.
