Chapter 90

Justine POV

I sighed a little, at the clinic by myself.

Da'Vion made it more than clear, that he wasn't gonna be there for me through this.

I looked around, and laid my head against the wall waiting for my name to be called.

I seen somebody walk through the door and it was Jackie.

"Jackie..." I said, I was more at ease seeing her her.

"Hey.." She said, I stood up and hugged her tightly.

"Thank you so much for being here." I said to her.

"Yeah.. Even though I wish I wasn't. I just didn't wanna you going through it alone." Jackie said.

"I appreciate it." I said as we both sat down.

"But you must know, Bird will probably change tremendously from this." Jackie warned me.

"What you mean?" I asked.

"This changes everything Justine. He's been wanting this family thing for so long, and the moment he almost has it... Your about to snatch that from him. Who knows how he will view you after this." Jackie said. I sighed rubbing my face.

"I just hope he can forgive me..." I said.

"I hope you can forgive yourself." Jackie said.

Her saying that, reminded me of something my mother told me a long time ago.

Flashback

"I'm so grateful to have you mama" I said.

"Nah I'm grateful for you baby. You all I got. Yo daddy ain't shit" She said and I chuckled.

"I know. But you never told me why." I said.

"I guess I can tell you now, since you're older." She said.

"Your dad didn't want you. When I told him I was pregnant, he suggested an abortion. Even gave me money for it." My mom said.

My heart sank.

"Are you serious?" I asked, damn . That hurt.

"He said he wasn't ready for kids and that you'd be in the way and all that. But still wanted to be with me though. How selfish. I couldn't even believe him." My mom said.

"Well.. Um. What did you say?" I asked.

"I told him I was keeping you. And he said if I did, he would leave me. And I said, deuces mothafucka. I picked you. I didn't need him and now look. I raised you all by myself. I wouldn't even know what to do with myself if I went through with what he wanted me to do." My mom said.

"I love you... Thank you for choosing me." I said walking over to her.

"Of course baby" She said giving me a hug. I hugged her back, tightly.

Flashback over

"Justine Skyers" The nurse said, I blinked shaking the flashback out of my mind.

"I guess.. It's time." I said. Jackie sighed.

"I'll be out here." Jackie said.

"Okay.." I said walking inside the room.

They had me change and lay on the bed.

"I'll be right back and we'll start the procedure." The doctor said, I nodded my head breathing heavily. I was so nervous.
