"You need to go now" I whispered to Spencer.
"Why? Afraid your boyfriend will get the right impression but think it's wrong?" He chucked to himself
I took him by the arm and dragged him to my room by the arm.
"You need to stay here for now then you need to wait for five minutes after we leave then just slip out of the front door." I told him.
"Why don't I just jump out the window again?" He asked.
"Because, he may see you." I said in a duh tone
"Fine, just hurry up. Jen you're not even finished getting ready." He reminded me.
"Oh flip " I said as I remembered that I was busy getting ready when Spencer rang the bell.
I ran downstairs quickly "Hey" I said to Aaron
" Sorry, I'm almost finished I just have to change." I explained
"No problem" he assured me. "Well you can wait in the living room till I'm finished" I told him.
"Great, thanks" he said as he stepped inside.
I ran upstairs to my room where I started to undress myself when someone made a coughing noise that made me jump.
Spencer.
"Oh dammit, I forgot you were in here." I said as I tried to cover my body.
"Yeah right, I think you just wanted to show off your hot bod to me" he chuckled
"Spencer, just turn around" I said motioning with my finger.
"Ugh, fine." He said as he turned around to face the opposite direction.
I put on the outfit that I laid out on my bed before Spencer came. When I was finished I went around to where Spencer was looking and asked
"So what do you think? Do I look okay?"
"Uh.. Yeah..." He stuttered, he cleared his throat to give me a proper answer.
" You look okay, I guess" I rolled my eyes at him.I wore my ripped black skinny jeans, a tight white crop top which I paired with my black leather jacket and black studded boots. I let my hair down so it fell just off my shoulders and I had applied some liquid eyeliner, mascara and blush.
I waked downstairs, mentally preparing myself for tonight. I cleared my throat to get Aaron's attention.
"Oh, don't you look beautiful" he said to me as he pulled me into his arms and gave me a peck on the cheek.
"Shall we go?" I asked him.
"Yeah sure, let's go pretty lady" he said and I giggled at that comment.
Once again he opened the car door for me and I slid inside. The car ride was quiet, but it wasn't silent.
______________________The date went fairly well, he took me to the William McKinley annual carnival where we rode on most of the rides and Aaron played games where he could win prizes for me so I ended up with all these teddy bears. Instead of a meal at a fancy restaurant like he suggested earlier on during the date we bought hotdogs and candy floss for dinner.
We were driving to my house now and when we pulled up he got out once again to open the door for me. He took my hands in his and we walked to my front door together.
"I had a lot of fun tonight Aaron. Thank you" I said and kissed him on the cheek. He looked at me and said
"I had fun too, we should do it again sometime" And this time he didn't waste any time, he placed his hands on my face and pulled me towards him.

Letting Go
Teen FictionMany people think that when you meet the person you're meant to be with, sirens go off; bells start ringing and all you see are rainbows. Most of the time that isn't the case. I won't give away too much, but all I'm saying, is that when it happened...
