Winter

Whiter than the fairest skin, you cover distant land.

You freeze our hearts, and slow down our lives.

You keep us guessing when you'll strike again. You love to play with us, baffle us, keep us guessing.

I'm never tired of your games, but nevertheless you take things too far sometimes.

You can freeze our skin, detroy our bodies, make us feel burning sensations but I know you're just playing.

You're winter, the most fickle season. You're beautifully dangerous, the most innocent season.

You're a time of relaxtions and traveling vacations.

Overwhelming anxieties come to a halt as I watch your unique snowflakes fall and melt away.

Then comes the next day and you're gone.

Winter, winter, come out to play.

Must you always go away?
