She just walks and talks with the smile on her face.
Safe outside but burned at the edge.
She's crumpled and and cries but unfolds because nobody can see her wrinkles.
She cuts and jabs but know damn well that she could do better instead.
You reject the help so graciously offered but I understand because you're devastatingly crumpled.
She brawls and fights, threaten to kick and bite.
But shit, I can tell you it's alright because you have the fight to make it to another night.
She will fight to a better life because that's just who she is.
You gonna be alright.You're a fucking shining light ever so bright.
