You are ever so bright, shining everyday in my eyes.
A shooting star in the darkness, had me thinking I could've kept it. What a mistake, I should've known, how can a mere man catch a star.
You're pretty to look at, a mesmerizing thought to have, should've known you're not something I can have.
Every step I took your way, the more you burned me.
You're a star in the sky, too far to fly. Like Icarus I burn up and fall into the ocean. Overwhelming darkness and pressure falls upon me, you don't help because you're a star in the sky.
Too high to stoop so low. Stars will continue to shine, while man continues drown.
