Axel's eyes shot open as a bright light shone on his face. Once again, one of the bitches little minions drugged him for the tenth time this month, and it started to take a toll on him. Lately, he has been having a hard time concentrating on his surroundings. However, he noticed he was no longer tied up naked in the basement. Yet, the person before him shined the light in his face again as he quickly headbutted them.

He should have thought before reacting. The shit hurt like hell, but it hurt the man before him more than him as he screamed and cursed. This was funny to Axel, and he believed he broke his nose. If he thought that was bad he was weak and didn't want him to get loose. If he did more damage would be done. "I would behave if you know what's good for you, Axel."

"Go to fucking hell bitch!" Bridget laughed and sat beside him. Although he couldn't see well. He could smell her perfume... something cheap like her. Still, she was afraid of him but wanted answers he couldn't give without the proper questions.

"Can we stop with the games? Tell me, what is it that you want? Or do you want to fuck me? If that's so, my dick is always hard. I hadn't had any in a while and can go for hours. Don't let my age fool you."

"You think you're funny, don't you? Please... tell me why you killed her?" Now they were getting somewhere, but Axel still didn't have a clue who she was talking about. "You have to give me a name, sweetheart. I've killed many and can't tell you something without a name, Bridget."

The woman let out a deep sigh as Axel's eyes adjusted to the room. Finally, he could see the woman who had held him captive for the past six months. Every other time, she would sit in the dark, and he had to follow her voice, but he could always smell her. It made him feel like an animal. "It's my lucky day... damn, at least I got captured by a sexy woman."

"This isn't a game, Axel— Ionna Popov, does her name ring a bell for you? Why did you kill her?" Axel stared like she had grown two heads. The woman's name didn't mean shit to him. He didn't know who she was or why she wanted answers from him about her.

"No... that name doesn't mean shit to me. Who is she to you?"

"A-are you serious? You cannot be serious. You don't remember killing my Mother right in front of me? In front of your pregnant wife, I was no older than six. You cut off her limbs, starting with her feet, while she screamed for you to stop but kept repeating, 'Where is he?' It was the only thing I could see every night when I shut my eyes until the doctors got it to stop. For years, I blocked that day out until a man sought me out two years ago, telling me he knew who murdered my Mother. He gave me a name and asked me to help bring you down. If I did, I could have the world at my feet, but I needed to do it before your son married.... while you were still Don. I was too late, and then I met Ryder. Apparently, he had a bone to pick with your son. Something about killing his whore of a sister. He killed the dogs and sent the hitmen... I only wanted answers. Please tell me why."

Axel sighed as he thought hard about the woman in question. It had to be the woman he killed before Luca was born. The one Obioma begged to let go as she screamed at him to stop. It was the first time she saw how ruthless he could be... and the day he nearly caused her to lose their son. Axel made sure to push that day to the back of his mind as he tried his best to teach Luca better, but he failed somewhere along the way. But the woman standing before him couldn't be Ionna's daughter; Bridget didn't look a day over twenty. Still, she was sitting there saying she was the six-year-old little girl who stood in the room the day he killed her mother. There was no fucking way... if so, she had to be at least thirty-six years old.

"You're bullshitting me! If you were, you'd be at least thirty-six by now."

"Then you do remember." With a name... yes, he did, but Axel was still in shock. He couldn't believe this was the little girl, but Bridget stood quickly and walked over to the man by the door, whispering. Whatever she said made him nod and leave. Surprisingly, she wanted to be alone with him. It made him wonder if she wanted more than why he killed her mother. Quietly, Axel tilted his head, watching the woman as she turned to him with a straight face. She was beautiful, and he had some build-up sexual frustration he needed to release. Although he would rather have Obioma, she could work for now.
