Luca stood in the door of the torture room as Ryder stared at him with a smirk. He knew it sounded strange, but he wanted to study the man. However, the more he came down to watch, the more it seemed like he knew him from somewhere besides the beach. Something about the man was familiar, but it was hard to place where he knew him from, and then he wanted to be a hard ass. Sadly, everyone had a breaking point. Luca had to find his.

His pain satisfied him, and he wanted to cause more, and the next thing he knew, he had beaten him until he was barely alive. It was safe to say Luca allowed his rage to get the best of him.

He was tired of Ryder's games and knew he had the location of his father's whereabouts but wasn't talking. Although today he had two choices talk or die. Luca was done playing. It had been eight months since he last saw his father, and neither of them knew if he was alive or rotting away on the side of the road somewhere.

"Today, you have two choices Ryder. Tell me where my Father is or die. I've played your game for eight months. Now you play mine." He had the nerve to laugh in Luca's face, causing him to reach for the first thing he laid his eyes on. The pliers sat on the edge of the table while he quickly grabbed them and forced the man's mouth open, pulling his teeth as he screamed for him to stop. Ryder wanted to act as if none of this mattered, so he would treat him like his life didn't matter, which it didn't to Luca.

He wanted answers, and if he had to pull every one of his teeth, he would, but his torture was quickly stopped as he felt a hand on his shoulder. Immediately, he knew it was his wife's. Adele's touch always calmed him, no matter how mad he was lately. He knew Ryder was testing him and pushing his buttons, but all he wanted to know was if Axel was alive or dead... He needed to know.

"He can't speak if you're pulling his teeth, Baby. Here, let me try." Luca smiled and stepped back. This whole time Ryder has been talking his shit about how weak his wife was, and now he was about to find out the truth. "This got to be a fucking joke. You're going to let your weak ass wife torture me. What she's going to do? Read me a story?"

Adele cocked a brow, and Luca knew this was about to be good. The asshole was up for a big surprise, and he couldn't wait to see the look on his ugly face once he realized the truth. Especially after he just told them, he killed their dogs. Nevertheless, he was in for a wild ride as he watched Adele make her way over to his father's favorite table. He loved his medieval devices, and it looked like Adele had picked up his habit as she took the Heretic's Fork and walked back over to Ryder.

"What the fuck is that thing?"

"Let me put it in terms you will understand. If you want to live to see another day, you will tell us where Axel is, or you better learn to stay awake." Luca couldn't help himself as he laughed at Ryder's face as she stepped closer. He also tried to fight to keep her from putting the thing around his neck. He could see the thing was painful as he winced from the iron poking him underneath his chin and breastbone, but the terror in his eyes gave him joy.

"I see you're scared of my weak little wife now. Aren't you?" Adele looked back with a sigh, but she knew he couldn't let the moment pass without being an asshole. "As you can see, my wife isn't the weak woman you thought she was. Actually, she's a fucking savage, and from where I stand, you're the weak one."

Ryder groaned as Adele went back over to the table, grabbed a knife and heating it before placing the hot metal against his chest. At this point, Ryder was trying his best not to let out a scream as Adele continued to burn him in various spots until she grew tired of the hot knife and picked up a scalpel. She loved her surgical tools, and Ryder was about to find out how much.
