Long Time No See

Chapter 12

Sonic was silent for a few seconds.

"Sonic?" Shadow asked.

Sonic reaches into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He threw it on Shadow's bed.

"What's that for?"

"I'm buying you." Sonic spoke with a serious voice.

"Excuse me?" Shadow asked confused and offended.

"Go on then, turn me on. Get me off." Sonic smirked.

"Who do you think you-"

"Since you have no respect for your body, you might as well try and make some money off of it. Sell your body to people, suck them off, strip for strangers. Come on! I gave you money, now I get to do what I want with you!"

Shadow was about to stand up and leave but Sonic knocked him down to the bed and pinned him down.

"Get off of me!" Shadow shouted kind of scared.

"Why? Maybe I'll pull your quills, bite down on your neck, screw ya until you can't walk? I can do whatever I want with you and you can't do a single thing about it! Because you're nothing but a scared little skank!"

Shadow looked away from Sonic still trying to fight his grip.

"Aw you gonna cry? I didn't know a sex toy could cry! Just lie there and take it like a good boy!"

"Stop...Stop it.." Shadow spoke with tears streaming down his face.

Sonic saw real fear and despair in Shadow's eyes. It broke his heart to him like this. But he knew it had to be done. Sonic released Shadow's arms from his tight grip and got off of him. But he was still sitting on Shadow's bed.

Shadow covered his eyes and cried. "Just stop, please stop it!" He wailed.

Sonic raised his hand and tried to stroke Shadow's back, but Shadow slapped his hand away.

"Don't touch me! You're just like him!" He cried.

Sonic's eyes widened and he literally felt his heart break into a million pieces. He shook his head as grabbed a hold of Shadow and gently sat him up. But not without a fight.

Shadow struggled in Sonic's hold. "Let me go! Leave me alone!"

Sonic wrapped his arms around the wailing hedgehog and held him tight.

"No! Let go!" Shadow struggled.

"Shadow I promise I only said those things to get you realize what he was really doing to you! I never meant to hurt your feelings! It broke my heart to see you cry and it hurts me even more to know that I caused it. I'm so sorry Shadow." Sonic explained as tears came to his eyes.

Shadow stopped struggling and just shook in Sonic's arms.

"Please forgive me, I just wanted to keep you safe."

Shadow stayed silent and still shook.

"Shadow?" Sonic asked.

"I-I'm such an idiot! This is all my fault! I-If would have just-"

"No Shadow! Don't ever think this was your fault! Scourge is a horrible and cruel guy that doesn't care for anyone but himself. You are a victim in all of this. What he does to you is not love, it's abuse. And what he did at the party was not him showing you love, it was rape."

This made Shadow cry harder. His wails forced tears to roll down Sonic's face.

"I-I wanted him to stop! I-I told him no! H-He wouldn't listen!" Shadow cried.

Sonic held Shadow's tighter. Letting Shadow get his emotions out. After a few minutes of Shadow venting his despair to Sonic, he started to settle down. But Sonic still held him tight.

"I know your hurting right now, but you need to know that you are not alone. I'm here, Silver's been helping me and he wants to be your friend. We are here to help you through this. Okay?"

Sonic felt Shadow nod.

"Good. Now, we do need to talk about other things about Scourge. But Silver and I both need to explain it to you. But that won't been until you rest a little bit. Give yourself some time to process this. I'll call Silver and tell him to cover over in a few hours. That'll give you some real time to let yourself relax. Is that okay with you?" Sonic asked and looked down at Shadow's still shaking figure.

Shadow remained silent and nodded again.

Sonic gave him a gentle smile and loosened his grasp on Shadow.

Shadow wiped his eyes and sniffed. He then laid himself down on his pillows and tried to calm his breathing.

Sonic once again tried to gently comfort Shadow by stroking his back. This time Shadow let him. Minutes flew by and Shadow's peaceful snores filled the air.

Sonic carefully got up and covered the sleeping hedgehog with a blanket.
