6 - Our First Hug

Dahyun POV

I remember everything from that day. I was 12, you were 13.

You were new to the school and everybody was staring at you. I couldn't see much of your face. The only thing I could see was that you were crying. You were crying in the middle of the cafeteria. And it broke my heart.

Since nobody got up to help you, I did it. I got up, moved away from my table and got closer to you. I still couldn't see your face, but I could hear you crying. I held your hand.

''It's okay.'' I told you before I paused for a moment to think what to say next. ''You can sit with us today''

You were still crying, but a small smile appeared on your face.

I helped you get up off the floor and took you to my friend's table.

''What's your name?'' Nayeon asked you.

''Sana'' You mumbled.

''A pretty name for a pretty girl'' I said making you smile. ''And you have a pretty smile too''

''Thank you.'' You said blushing a little.

''You're welcome, pretty girl.'' I said smiling. You were really pretty, but I still couldn't see much of your face, because you were covering it with your hands. The only thing I could see was your smile. I love your smile.

''Where are you from, Sana?'' Chaeyoung asked.

''Japan'' You said. I didn't know much about Japan, until I met you. I promised myself the first thing I would do when I got home was search about Japan. I didn't broke that promise. That was really the first think I did.

''I want to be friends.'' I said to you, when we were left alone in the table.

''Do you?''

''Yes, Sana. I want to be friends with you'' I said even louder than before. ''Would you like to be my friend?''

You just nodded your head.

''Then we are officially friends'' I said making you laugh. I got up and got closer to you to hug you.

''That's our first hug'' I said smiling. ''Did you like it?''

''I loved our first hug'' You paused for a second. I guess you were thinking about what to say. ''Can your give me a second?''

You were perfect for me. So why didn't I fall in love with you? Why her?
