Dahyun POV

"We need to talk" Sana says holding my hand. "It's serious"

I turn to look at her. We're on a date again, but we're still not official, because I don't know if we should. I don't think I love her enough to be with her as a girlfriend.

"I need you to be honest with me" She says and I nod. "Do you love me?"

I stay in silence. How do I say this?

I don't love you, Sana.

I can't say that. I would hurt her.

I don't know if I love you, Sana.

I don't want to confuse her anymore.

I love you, Sana.

But I have to be honest and that's not the truth. I don't know if I love Sana.

"I think I deserve an answer" She says. "I don't want to wait for something that'll never happen"

I'm sorry, Sana.

"I don't love you, Sana" I finally say.

"That's okay" She says, but stops holding my hand. "But we can't do this anymore"

"Why?"

"Because I have feelings too, Dahyun" She says. "And you can't play with them"

"I'm not playing with your feelings. You agreed to this even though I told you I was trying to see where this could go" I say. "We knew there was a chance that this could happen"

"I know" She sighs. "But it's hurting me"

"I'm sorry, Sana"

"I know you are sorry" She says. "But we have to stop"

"Can we still be friends?"

"I'd prefer not being your friend for some time" She gets up and grabs her things. "I hope you find someone that you really love"

"Thank you" I hope you can find someone that loves you the way you deserve to be loved.

But that someone isn't me.

Maybe I love you.

Maybe I lied to you and I love you.

But I don't love you the way you deserve to be loved.

That's why you deserve someone else, Sana.
