31 - Dinner In Your House

Nayeon POV

Even though Jeongyeon's mom hates me, Jeongyeon invited me to have dinner in her house so here I am sitting on their table eating the food Jeongyeon's mom cooked.

"Nayeon!" Jeongyeon's dad, who just arrived, exclaims when he sees me. "You haven't been here for a long time"

I can hear Jeongyeon's mom sighing, but we ignore it.

"Hi Mr. Yoo" I smile. "How have you been?"

"Working" He answers while he puts food on his plate and sits down. "How have you been? Do you still have that covers channel on Youtube?"

I look at Jeongyeon confused.

"I showed him your channel" Jeongyeon says making me embarassed. "He had to hear you singing"

"You sing really well" Jeongyeon's dad cumpliments me.

"Thank you" I say smiling.

I look at Jeongyeon's mom to see her looking at me already with an angry expression on her face.

I feel Jeongyeon's hand holding mine and we stay that way until the end of the dinner.

"Can you go to my room?" Jeongyeon asks me and I nod. "I need to talk to my mom"

I go to Jeongyeon's room and wait for her.

I take my phone to answer the messages I got and to warn my parents that I'll be home a little late. After I finished doing that she's still not here so I install some game on my phone and I play it.

After a long time waiting for her she finally comes to the room, but with a sad expression on her face.

"Is everything okay?" I ask holding her hand and she shakes her head saying 'no'. "What happened?"

"My mom.." She tries to speak more, but she can't because she starts crying.

"We can talk about it later" I say hugging her. "Try to calm down first"

Jeongyeon nods with her head and rests it on her pillow, closing her eyes. I rest my head on the pillow and close my eyes too, what makes me fall asleep.

How I wish your mom would like me. I don't know what I did for her to hate me so much. It's since the first day she met me. I didn't even have a chance, because she already hated me when she saw me.

I tried many times to prove her that she is wrong and that I'm a good girlfriend for you, but I never changed her mind in 2 years.

I could have change her mind if she told me what I did wrong, but she never did. When she talks to me, the only thing she says is that she hates me. Not the reason behind it.
