Jealously

"What's the matter with you?" I ask.

"What do you mean "what's the matter?", shouldn't I be asking you that" she says.

"What I didn't do anything wrong, and you've been giving me that harsh look after I met Jessie" I say.

"Oh wait, please don't tell me you're jealous of me meeting Jessie" I say.

"I'm um not" she says.

"See your hesitating. You are arent you, just tell me already" I say.

"Fine, I am" She says with a sigh, sounding defeated.

"Okay, cool jealousy is normal. It's not like I would take her as my girlfriend, I'm in love with you. And I just met her." I say.

"Yea right! You don't see the way she looks at you or the way I see you looking at her" she says crossing her arms.

"What do you mean, she only looked at me like that because we are friends. And what, you want me to give her a bitch face" I say.

"If you have to, then yes" she says.

"Wait what- , no you can't control me. I can look at whoever I want, the way I want. I respect you. Why would you get jealous she's like 10 times out of my league and I'm taken by you" I say fighting back.

"Yea right, you guys are the perfect couple. Watch when I'm gone for the day and you guys hang out and next thing you know you choose her over me. I know how this goes Emmy. It's always them and never me. She's probably trying to get attention, or you trying to get her attention" she says.

"WHAT THE FUCK Lily! You know me better than that. I know this won't happen. Why? Because I fucking love you okay. And I'm not doing this to get attention and I don't think she is either. She's going through a lot and so am I okay. And it doesn't hurt to be friends alright. Like you and me. What we were before we dated FRIENDS. F. R. I. E. N.D.S" I say.

"Ughh whatever" she says.

"WHATEVER EXCUSE ME??? Where is this coming from now?" I ask.

"Of course you would say this. You don't know how many times I laid in bed and cried while you were missing. You don't know how many times, I panicked when I think that he's back to take you" she says.

"And you don't think I felt that way. I'm still traumatized, by the raping and of course the kidnapping. I was young alright. And I still am. And you know what it's practically scarred into my brain" I say. My phone dings indicating that I got a text message.

I open it to see multiple texts from Brendon and Jessie.

Holy Father BEEBO: Everything going okay over there?

Me: uhh yea. Just a little disagreement.

Holy Father Beebo: Okay. Keep it down alright Sarah's sleeping.

Me: okie. Night

Jessie 🏳️‍🌈: Hey tonight was fun tonight, so I was wondering if we can go to the mall tomorrow??

Me: umm maybe, depends how I feel tomorrow. I'll let you know when I wake up.

Jessie 🏳️‍🌈: okay cool. Night x

"Look at you smiling at your phone again. Let me guess it's that bitch stealing girlfriend huh" (sowy I love Jessie Paege) Lily says.

" WHAT THE FUCK LILY! YOU DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT. SHE'S STEALING NOBODYS GIRLFRIEND! AND NO IT WAS MY DAD. WANT PROOF?" I ask and she nods.

I open up my phone and toss it at the bed. I leave the room and walk downstairs to get a glass of water to drink.

"Alright I see you're correct, I am getting out of hand and I am jealous. But why did she text you to go to the mall tomorrow. Seriously Emmy this time you gotta be kidding me. I swear to god she's trying to steal you. Why don't you see the signs!" She says meeting me downstairs.

"Seriously you want proof and I let you see it, and you go through my phone. You gotta be kidding me!" I say.

"Fine wanna be even go through my phone then." She says handing me her phone.

I open up her phone and go to the messaging app. There's a text from me, my dad and an unknown number.

"Wanna explain to me, who this unknown number is, oh look you got a text "Hey babe, got rid of her yet?"" I read the text out loud and threw the phone at her.

"You gotta be kidding me! You wanna get jealous over this and make a big deal out of this! Then you wanna be a hyprocrite saying that, I'm gonna cheat on you when actually wait, it's already happening it's you!" I say talking a gulp of water.

"You know what, we are done! I'm tired of this, get out of my house. I never want to see you again. You wanna treat me like this get out!" I say.

"But I-I let me explain" she pleads.

"NO JUST GET OUT PLEASE. THE DAMAGE IS ALREADY DONE JUST LEAVE GET OUT MY FACE! I was happy about us and you ruined it. Go bye, go run off to your lover and be with him because clearly you didn't want to be with me" I say tears threatening to come out.

She runs upstairs and grabs her stuff and runs back downstairs. She gives me a quick glance and leave slamming the front door shut.

"Yea you better leave. You better shut the front door" I whisper. I put away the glass of water and run back upstairs to my room.

I jump onto my bed. Buried myself in the pillows and scream into the pillow. Next thing you know I'm full on crying.

I go into the bathroom to splash some water on my face. I look up and see my reflection in the mirror. "Geez look at you, crying over a girl. Come on nobody likes you. She's probably right Jessie is probably trying to get attention just like Lily because you are Brendon Urie's daughter" I say to myself.

I get up and go back into my room. I lay there on the bed with my head hanging off. I start crying again.

I look over to my nightstand and there stood a picture of Lily and I happy together. I got up, picked up that photo frame, and went to my balcony door and opened the door then stepped out next thing you know, there goes that picture getting thrown into the pool. "FUCK YOU!!" I scream out.

"Heyyyyyyy, what was that???" I hear from the patio down below. I look down and I see Brendon standing there.

He goes over to the pool with a net and captures the picture.

"Don't you want this?" He asks.

"Not anymore" I say and walk inside. I shut the balcony door.

I hop back in bed forcing myself to sleep.
