Easy to Hate You

A/N haha the song came on, but like hey it's a bop right, but yea this chapter is kind of inspired by the song. Okay I'll leave you to listen to the song then.

JESSIE POV (probably weren't expecting this huh)

All I heard was Emmy downstairs talking to the person. I decided to take a peek without being caught and saw that it was Lily.

To be honest, I have nothing against Lily. Like yea I heard the story of her cheating on Emmy and etc. but in my opinion Lily is really pretty and so is Emmy. I mean when I first met Lily she gave off a jealously type, but I guess I just shook it off knowing that they were a thing back then so no big deal. Also I feel like Emmy should become friends with Lily, at least.

After awhile I head back into the room, snacking on popcorn and scrolling through my phone or thinking of ideas of what to post next on my Instagram or on my YouTube.

I lowkey want to do a collab with Emmy and introduce her to the fans, but I gotta see how she feels first. I'll ask later after all of this.

While I was thinking, my thoughts were interrupted with someone barging into the room.

"Ha, I knew it was gonna be her. I always knew you had a thing for her, even when we were dating. I should've known" that person that barged into the room said.

"Shut up Lily" I hear Emmy say.

"What if I don't? What are you gonna do huh, are you gonna get your Famous Daddy to pay me to shut up" she says.

"Hey don't bring Brendon into this" I hear Emmy shouts.

Umm I guess I'll just stay here and wait for the aftermath I guess.

"I should've known, you would go for Jessie. I bet she's your rebound." Lily says.

"I swear to god Jessie, you are no rebound. I love you okay. You are my everything" Emmy says.

I just sit there taking in what is happening.

"Hey Lily, and what's all the noise?" Brendon asks interrupting.

"Oh I see, Emmy didn't tell you. Well Emmy and I are gonna be friends again, but then I just walked in on her with another chick already, claiming that she's in love with her. Like look who's better looking me or her?" Lily asks.

Ouch that kind of hurt.

"Shut up Lily, nobody cares. I don't care about looks. I'm more attracted to personalities, and etc. and clearly you're not it. To be honest you were a very different person when we first met." Emmy says.

"Alright, alright girls. Why don't you cool off and take it outside or something." Brendon suggests.

"I think it's best you leave Lily" Emmy says.

"I'm going no where, until you say you're still in love with me" Lily demands and Emmy shakes her head.

"Well let me help you out." I hear Emmy says.

Emmy goes over to Lily and tries to pick her up and Carry her out down the stairs, but then Lily is fighting back.

That fighting back led to Lily hitting everything in her way. Which hit Brendon and made Brendon lose his balance and tumble down the stairs.

Nobody notices, until theres a thud at the bottom of the stairs. Emmy stops everything and runs to Brendon's side.

EMMY POV

Shit it's all my fault. Ughh he's bleeding.

He's still breathing though, that should be a good sign and he's unconscious. I tell Jessie to dial 9-1–1. While she dials the number I hear her address I them the situation.

"Dad, Brendon wake up" I say shaking Brendon. Nothing is happening.

"Ha, it's all your fault Emmy. Everything is your fault. It's all on you" Lily says.

"Shut up, bitch. I hate you already and you gave me another reason to hate you. God it's easier to hate you than for me to love you or be friends with you. I think you should leave, LIKE NOW" I say.

"Ughh fine, but don't come running to me when things go wrong" she says, i ignore what shes saying, focusing more onto Brendon.

A few minutes later, the paramedics arrive and they place Brendon on a stretcher and wheel him into the paramedics. They drive to the nearest hospital.

I hop in the car with Jessie. Jessie drives behind following the ambulance, while I dial Sarah's number and explain to her what happened.

All I remember next was sitting on a chair in the waiting room and crying, hoping the doctor will come out with good news that Brendon is okay.

After an hour or so a doctor comes into the waiting room.

"Umm is Mr. Urie family here?" The doctor asks.

"Yes, I'm his daughter Emmy." I says.

"Okay, hello Emmy. I'm Doctor Anderson. I'm gonna be taking good care of your father. Is your mother here?" She asks.

"Uh no, I'm adopted, but his Fiancé is on her way." I say.

"Oh okay, that's fine. Umm it looks like Mr. Urie is fine, but we do want to keep him overnight to see if he'll wake up, since he's still unconscious" she says.

"Okay and call him by Brendon. He hates Mr. Urie" I say.

"Will do, would you like to see him?" She asks.

"Yes. " I say.

She leads me to the room where Brendon is and Jessie follows behind.

It looks like he has a bruise on his head forming. They stitched up the cut he got that was bleeding earlier.

"How long will it take for him to be awake?" I ask.

"Umm hopefully soon" the doctor says and I nod.

Then Sarah comes running in. She runs over to me hugging me and then going over to Brendon.

"Uh the doctor said, he'll be awake soon." I say and Sarah nods.

Just on cue, Brendon eyes began to flutter open.

I run over to the light and dim it down.

"Hey dad" I say.

"Huh dad??, who are you? And you? And you?" He questions.

"Umm, I'm Emmy your daughter. That's Sarah your fiancé that is pregnant with your baby and that's Jessie my girlfriend" I say.

"Ha, I knew that. I'm just kidding." He says.

"Omg Brendon. I hate you so much. You scared me" Sarah says.

"Uh no you don't, you love me" he says.

Just hearing Brendon's voice brighten my day.

Dr. Anderson comes in explaining to Brendon what happened and why he's here and future steps.

Then a nurse enters the room examining Brendon and taking his vitals.

"I'm sorry guys, but visiting hour are over now, but one person is able to stay with him." The nurse says.

"Um I can stay" Sarah says.

"Okay, I can take Emmy home and we can chill and clean up at home I guess" Jessie insisted.

"Alright, we're going now bye. I love you dad. You too Sarah" I say giving them a hug. We exchange our good bye and head home. Making a stop at McDonald's to get food and heading home to eat.

Then we tidied up the place for a bit and decided to go to bed for the long day.

SORRY I KNOW THIS IS A SHITTY CHAPTER. I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED THIS AND DONT KILL ME QUITE YET (but at this point I would love to 🤷🏽‍♀️) THERES STILL MORE STUFF GOING ON AND NO WORRIES I DONT LIKE LILY (the character) EITHER LMAO. WELL THANKS FOR READING AND ILL SEE YA LATER ✌🏼
